Do not hope for any help from Cedar Park.  This is the worst I've ever seen them look.  They went 4 straight periods with 4 or less shots and have shown very little ability to clear the zone unless you count icing.

check back in at the end of the season. I'm betting it'll be a different story. they're trying to get their footing with new coaches and the like too. the pipeline is still very strong

Just got to buddys place from at the game. Wanted to see 8 what may be the last time. The chirping on the ice was more than usual. Thought there would be more scuffles.

you mean watch a statue stand at the left circle and wait for someone to pass him the puck? exciting! not really sure what motivates ovi these days, but it seems to be predominantly sweet treats.

good but somewhat boring win. will take it with so many players out of the lineup.

so 10 games in and I am more confused than confident. I don't think this team has established its identity yet, but I'm liking most of everything I am seeing, especially because things are trending more to how we expect them to be. the next 10 should be interesting

This Stars/Mavs/AAC is an absolute mess.   And seems like the City of Dallas is taking sides and are completely fucking this up if choosing the Adelsons. The City of Dallas Has No Choice But to Work Things Out With the Mavericks - D Magazine

I'm not sure if the Stars are innocent here either (as it's not going to surprise me if it comes out they wanted to move to the f'n burbs) but I'm just going to choose to believe the Mavs new ownership are the assholes in this situation as well as it certainly fits with everything else we've seen .

It's amazing how much I've gone from a huge Mavs fan to essentially rooting for the franchise's failure.  At first it was until Nico was fired but maybe that won't change until (if ever) there is new ownership.

But yeah, the Stars moving North would be really depressing.  Immediate cancellation of season tix and wouldn't make near as many games.   And the City of Dallas screwing everything up and ending up without a single franchise that actually plays within the city limits would be par for the course.

CORRECTION:

It seems that the politically ambitious second term mayor of Dallas is taking sides to support one of the largest political donors for the party that he switched his political affiliation to shortly after being reelected.

Perhaps you haven’t followed this gentleman’s political maneuvering enough to understand what is really going on here.

This has everything to do with money and personal gain for the Adelson’s as well as the Dallas mayor.

if this ends up being some trump v canada bullshit and the Stars leave Texas imma gonna lose it

North of 635 might as well be Canada!  I never venture up that way (other than to get Cattleack BBQ, which is an entirely acceptable reason to venture north).
