I think his body is done. Unless he loses a ton of weight, but he won't because he's a rock head.

His knees are shot for sure!!   It will be interesting to see if only playing 20 mins/gm will allow him to get to 65 gms played this yr and can he be ramped up to actually make impact should they get to the playoffs.

I honestly think phillys more dangerous when centered around Maxey and Edgecomb vs having to wheel Embiid and PG around in wheel chairs and make sure they "get theirs" vs just going out and playing loose.

bet they cant wait until 29/30 when theyre both off of the books

I could see one of them getting waived and stretched this coming offseason

LeBron made all these GMs think that mid 30s players can still play. PG, Dame, Embiid should give him some of their paychecks.

They really appeared to luck out with Edgecombe.   They already have a young star in Maxey.     Go with them and the other young pieces they have and move on from Embiid.   He's not really useful at this point

It's cool to see Jamal Shead be a part of Toronto's rotation. Not a lot of guys from Austin have cracked the NBA.

That iniury he had in the tourney a couple years ago was fucking heartbreaking.

fucking Jamal Murray.  the one player MN couldnt afford to get hot, goes nuclear in the 3rd. Tim Hardaway JR goes semi nuclear at the same time for 20 pts off the bench and will probably go 2-7 for 6 pts next game.

Denver finally beat us, damn it. i do like the Joker/ Jonas V rotation, that'll be a beating for anybody if either doesn't get hurt. I wasn't the biggest buyer  in the Cam Johnson sweepstakes last year as some teams thought he was needed for the missing piece from Brooklyns fire sale. am i missing something? I know new team give him a minute...but hes with the best player in the world and was probably denvers 9th best player.

Maybe it was more getting out of the MPJ contract than anything. 8:30 CDT tips should be illegal if they arent on a holiday weekend or Friday/Saturday. stupid.

tomorrow NBC has a game on at 10PM central lol

lauri markkamen was yesterday’s nightly raffle winner for “guy who gets to score 50 points at the foul line.”

tune in tonight to see which new random white guy drops 50 points on 25 FTA!

It was 100% about getting out of that contract. That albatross destroyed their cap and ability to re-sign their own free agents (Bruce Brown, KCP, etc.) or make any other moves for three years and they had no bench because of it. That they were able to replace MPJ  with a three point threat like Cam Johnson at almost $20 million a year less was great work by their front office to unfuck themselves.

Do we finally see him get traded this year? If he can put on some performances like that, his value should be pretty high. Not sure what team would think he's the missing piece they need, but his name has been swirling around the deadline for several years now.

Cam is still figuring out where he fits on the team. I think he'll be fine, though. The rest of the starters have been together for 3 years.

I am also liking the JV minutes. Competent bench play is really nice to have.

Wish I could have watched. Fucking Peacock games.

Sportsurge.net for me works well

Agreed on Cam. He’s been struggling a bit with off ball movement and spacing but he’ll get it figured out.

I will say that it feels good to not have to have at minimum 3 starters playing a great game scoring. Felt the past couple of years our margin for error was much more narrow. THJ is great to see.

LOVE what I’m seeing with JV and him and Jamal’s 2 man game has been awesome too. Curious to see if we’d ever play JV and Jokic at the same time.

It is nice to have the option to play big if the other team does it to the Nuggets. Not sure how often they will do it, though.

In the age of offenses gone wild - how do the Clippers score only 79 points?

While only committing 5 personal fouls.

You'd think Leonard would have more aspiration than leading his team with a +/- of -29

  1. Edgecombe
  2. Cedric Coward
  3. Dylan Harper
  4. Cooper Flagg
  5. Tre

This rookie class appears to be pretty ridiculous. Aside from those ahove, both Fairs and Queen have been really good for New Orleans. And Collin Murray Boyles from Toronto is a total animal. Love the way he gets after it on defense.

I've been beyond impressed with Dylan Harper so far. I don't think he's going to get enough minutes to win ROY especially compared to the kind of numbers Edgecombe is going to put up playing 40 mpg, but he may very well end up being the best player in this draft. Jason Kidd isn't doing Flagg any favors playing him at the point. Are they still doing that? So, so dumb.

He's such a slimy cocksucker.

I can't believe that Silver and Co. thought that THIS was the guy to be the face of the NBA.

No one likes him or his stacked team.

Wemby may be the force that brings balance to this nonsense.

You should go talk more shit in the Rockets thread.

Do they still think Little Reed Shephard is a player?  They did at one point but they seem to be changing their minds.

He's averaged 50.22 games and 31 minutes per game in his previous nine seasons. In only four seasons has he played 60, or more, games.

I don't see any of that changing.
