Found a new angle of the authorities taking action against a woman who was not obeying their orders.

Seriously, if you need something to carry in a protest, just caption this "ICE, SHOOTING A WOMAN WHO DIDN'T OBEY THEM (original image, 1943)"

  • Only a fucking idiot would think there was going to be any type of coup. The US isn't a 3rd world country. And WTF was she going to do with a pocket knife against guns?

  • Here is an interesting opinion. I agree with parts, but not others. Good didn't deserve to die. She may have hit the gas, but she barely swiped the agent and the car was past him when he started shoot

  • With a pocket knife? Please tell me you IQ is lower than that of a farm animal. It was a bunch of losers trying to be cool, that's all.

No, that is our responsibility. We mustn't expect the rest of the world to save us from our neighbors. We must do it.

The German people couldn't save themselves. They needed cities leveled and leaders / conspiritors hung.

I agree, but why can't we do that ourselves?

Incorrect. They COULD HAVE. But they didn't.

And that cultural difference is our last, best hope (slim/tiny as it may be). Their culture and upbringing is one of strict obedience to rules, in many cases at the expense of independent thought. Our culture, on the other hand, has a healthy dose of "fuck you, I won't do what you tell me." That individualism and anti-authority streak can and has been used for evil (it's been used by this regime and its movement to absolutely kill all empathy, sense of community, acting in the interest of the common good, etc.). BUT....the opposition also has that streak in them, and it stands AGAINST authority hurting people and acting like nazi jackboots (fucking hell, they aren't acting LIKE that, they ARE that).

Our cultural, internal sense of defiance is the only thing we have left. We must use it. Everywhere, at every opportunity.

What happened to all those fuckers who used to come out of the woodwork for the BLM threads to celebrate cops attacking protesters in DT? Is this a bridge too far for them? Did they all leave the site? Are they just too cowardly to even attempt to defend this shit?

They always pulled a Jonathan Ross and left when they couldn't defend their stance. Expect them back in 3 years to talk about fiscal responsibility.

Since when has ICE ever been used for crowd control or investigating a federal program administered by a state for allegations of corruption, in which the vast majority of those charged are US citizens?

Kind of erases all doubt that ICE has become the regime's own paramilitary secret police force, which most of the CR cabal already knew and have been warning of.

We need to start referring to them exclusively as The Brownshirts. That is what they are. ICE should no longer be in our vernacular.

Gestapo. Because that is exactly who they are.

this has been demonstrated to not be true. it's about 27% that is the unmovable portion of his base. between that and a majority there is a ton of wiggle. a lot of people who inexplicably supported him again are moving away from that. this event is yet another that erodes that support, and this one seems to be doing so faster than others.

Whatever the proper percentage, there is a portion that are simply an immovable object when it comes to Trump.

I can assure you, they are giggling themselves to death over their "Good shoot" puns on their various moron group texts.

Well, some access to evidence would be very helpful. Like to figure out which shot was fatal.

Kind of fun thing, though, Minnesota could charge him in MN court and there would be a temptation to remove the case to federal court. A federal judge would have about zero qualms ordering the FBI to cooperate.

Sure. Federal court means a pardon.

turnip would love that outcome.

No, under that removal statute, it remains a state charge, prosecuted by state attorneys under state law.

It's just presided over by a federal judge sitting in a federal courtroom.

Rooting around in the issue of Supremacy Clause immunity, something I did not know.

Idaho charged FBI Ruby Ridge sniper Lon Horiuchi with manslaughter for the death of Vickie Weaver.

Horiuchi removed the case to federal court, where the trial court dismissed the case. On appeal, the en banc 9th Circuit said there were too many factual questions to grant Horiuchi immunity from prosecution. https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/F3/253/359/576174/

Idaho later dismissed the case.

This is actually pretty on point with the Ross/Good case: A questionable shoot (questionable for Horiuchi, pretty much bad for Ross) leading to no immunity.

If the people with the guns would have done what you prefer and just not have used the guns, she and the thousands of people behind her probably would have bludgeoned a whole lot of people to death.

No need for a judge if there is no investigation.

“Prosecutors in the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division were told they will not play a role in the ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting of a woman in Minneapolis by a federal immigration officer, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

Leadership in the Civil Rights Division, overseen by Harmeet Dhillon, informed staff in the division's criminal section that there would not be an investigation, two sources said. Normally, after a high-profile incident involving a fatal shooting by an officer, attorneys from the criminal section fly out to the scene. Multiple career prosecutors offered to do so in this case, but they were told not to do so, one of the sources added.”
