There are many energy vampires on the station right now.

Meanwhile on The DZ it's Jake, Danny and Blake. Earlier this week, Dan discovers what a tamale is.

He always is hammered. No idea how this guy keeps getting on the air or meaningful gigs. I’ve got many stories about him, back to the late 90s. He’s a Grade A jackass and always has been.

Pat Green filled in as a emergency for Rise Roundup for our 20th Anniversary year. We had Jerry Jeff Walker lined up (he played the 1st one) but about a month out, his wife said he was going back to treatment for throat cancer and just wasn't going to be able to make it. This was during Green's several months of sobriety probably. I'm not a huge fan of his anyway but he was on point that night and very gracious to our cause (the Rise School). I've run across him a time or two since and he wasn't in a good place.

As far as Cory Morrow goes, his politics fucking suck.

Yeah, let’s focus on his “politics”. Although his Red Dirt affiliation turns me off 😀

His journey includes a successful recovery from drugs and alcohol, and the rebirth of his Faith in GOD, and his Lord, Jesus Christ. He also helped found the Red Dirt Music Scene in Austin, in addition to releasing 16 albums in his storied career. He is involved in raising money for different charities in our Great State of Texas including Rock the Red Kettle every November with the Salvation Army of Austin, Texas. They can be found at Rock the Red Kettle 2022 - Austin Area Command (salvationarmyaustin.org) . He is a board member on the Majesty Outdoors foundation for kids without fathers. They can be found at Majesty Outdoors - Mentoring Fatherless Youth so please check them out and contribute to their cause as well if you feel called to do so.  Cory currently resides in the Austin, Texas area with his lovely wife and five kids.

Wilonsky is on the air entirely too much.

Robert Wilonsky is Dallas radio royalty going back to The Zoo. He can be on whenever he wants. You always learn something new about the music.

He insists upon himself. He sucks. Don’t piss me off Art.

If you don't like intelligent people,  why are you here? I bet you hated sitting through classes.

I chuckle at goal post moving Corby. "Texas has won one championship in 55 years". That same thing can be applied to OU who has only won one championship in 38 years.

you’re taking his comment WAY out of context.

It was definitely targeting. Sturm is as good at radio as Detty or EA.

Does this surprise you in the least?

There have been multiple posts showing the actual targeting rule, which requires one of four other conditions besides head to head contact. The hit didn’t have any of those four. It’s the same reason the hit on Bond wasn’t called.

This hit on Bond wasn’t targeting. Taaffe was a no brainer.

I just explained to you the facts of the rule.

Oh, well then let me totally change my mind!  I’ll ignore all the video and breakdowns (which overwhelmingly agree with my view) I’ve seen, and trust your explanation of the facts. Which in fact was no explanation whatsoever, but just you stating you explained the facts.

I think we can all appreciate the growth and maturity you are showing.

Im so sorry we aren’t all here to do work for you to help you not look like an uninformed rube. A simple 15 second google would have enabled you to understand why you’re wrong, but given what we all know about you from your posting history, your response is right on brand.

Do yourself a favor in 2025 and put him on ignore.

I find his response to be very strange. I was just trying to be helpful, and then he just completely ignores reality and doubles down without even thinking about it, looking into it, nothing. Just a complete lug head. Weird.

I can't imagine what waking up at 4am every day to get in to station must do to their bodies. Change sucks but if it keeps them around for a little bit longer then I'd rather have 3 hours versus no hours of them.

While I always want more Musers, if it keeps them going as a show for more years, I am all for it...though it will suck if we get less fun segments at the expense of yet another Cowboys segment on a Tuesday or Wednesday (following, of course, Cowboys-Over Saturation Mondays)

Well, maybe we're done with Jub Red Dirt segments now.....at least in the Corner since there appears to be no more Corner.

Well, this sucks. I barely listened to The Ticket while the Musers were out. It appears my time as a P1 is coming closer and closer to the precipice. (There’s no way that’s a word.)
