  2. "We are going need you to limit your water usage to 10 gallons a day, per household, too. We will also be adjusting your price per gallon, as well, to compensate on our end. Thank you for your understanding during our time of need." - Austin Energy
  3. Henry aint coming here. Glad we madea run and bidded him up.
  4. I'm all for that. Eventually we will get to a point where the government won't or can't(hopefully the former before the latter) prop up excessive risk takers. At this point that change in expectations is really going to fucking hurt.
  5. Rachel Bachman: Penn State Had a Plan to Hire Its Next Football Coach. Then It All Crumbled.
  6. March Madness wasn't shit until unorganized gambling, i.e, the office pools, started to become more and more popular. Very similar to how fantasy football has caused the popularity of the NFL to explode and bring in new viewers.
  7. Laila Phelia is healthy and doing well at Syracuse. She has started every game this season and is shooting 41% from behind the arc.
  8. I mean, he had offers from pretty much everybody, so it wasn't just Texas.
  9. Without a flood of flipped CB picks coming in (plus Lott sticking to Oregon), the assumption is OSU here I guess?
  10. Anyone miss RT yet? 😃
  11. Re: Henry, Jr., it's a win simply if we made OSU dig deeper into their pockets for him.
  12. The answer is yes, eventually. It’s a battle for eyeballs, and the more you give the consumer the opportunity to switch apps, the more you give them the opportunity to switch to another corporation’s app. you will be paying $80 for a Netflix/HBO streaming package, and your choice for theatrical and physical media will dwindle.
  13. Ward Carrol with a good overview of where things stand after the congressional briefing Notably, it seems like there were more than two strikes on the boat - as many as FOUR have been reported (so far). Four guided munitions expended just to sink a burning and broken 20ft boat that people were trying to flip back over.
  14. He is your typical big Qb with a huge arm. Best HS year was 63% comp, 22 Tds, and 9 ints. He was never very accurrate or showed good decision making.
  15. locodos

    Florida Gators

I was worried that Sumrall was a Great Value Will Muschamp at best or a non lobotomized Napier at worst. Ok OK, I see you coach
  16. I am about to sit through 30 minutes of McAfee. See yall on the other side
  17. I'm guessing for now the HBO content will just be available on Netflix like it has been in the past
  18. Did not have Jonah Williams exclusively playing baseball on my bingo card. Feels like a big loss even though Ive hardly ever seen him play Safety. I just thought he was going to completely wreck shop.
  19. dcbc

    Eggs

My method always has been to put the egg in cold water, bring it to a boil, turn off the heat, cover, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Put it in ice water for a minute or so and peel under running water. Just the way I learned.
  20. nvm, too much math
  21. I mean, that's literally our national motto under this regime, so....yeah.
  22. Look how Paramount is getting gutted
  23. Phil Klay with a really good piece on this in the NY Times, I'll gift it because the whole things is worth reading and some good St. Augustine quotes for@Kyrie Eleison, @Brisketexan, and @Ghost of LL that used to contribute to the old Hornfans philosophy thread. What Trump Is Really Doing With His Boat Strikes Choice quote:
  24. The phenomenon emphasizes the wisdom and need for real anti-trust law and enforcement. Sure, let these fuckers go out there and leverage to the hilt, and crash and burn. Just none of this "too big to fail" shit (which, when you let one or two entity's become that dominant, is an actual thing -- their failure could lead to total economy disaster). It is bad policy to (1) allow an enterprise to get that big/economically dominant, (2) gamble with its own life, (3) lose, and then (4) say "nope, you can't let us crash, we're too big and too important, use the people's money to bail us out." The thing is, item (4) is not untrue in many such cases. So....don't let it become true. But, we have no interest in doing that. As a society, we live to serve monopolies and oligarchies, and you and I have no purpose other than to be a source of revenue for those things. That's fucking fucked. The economy should serve and benefit its citizens, not vice-versa.
