    High

after a summer of consuming on a near daily basis, I've gone back to the 4 days off, 3 days on approach. Man, some of these dreams I'm having on nights when I abstain are so vivid and real its scary
  4. Everybody has to pitch in for a 320k bill. shit buckets of water were $75 per....
  5. I blame that one on Mack. This is the kind of outside the box thinking one needs to revolutionize the sport and win national championships.
  6. Mississippi State wasn't complete shit competition But yes, he just looked way different and more confident with everything last year.
  7. This is incredible. Should happen on every campus.
  8. You assume that it is UT law enforcement, and that is a good initial assumption. But the FBI frequently assists local law, particularly with computer forensic and other technical subject matter, where locals really may not have the horsepower. And, here, the FBI has demonstrated an interest in the case. And, of course ol Kashyap didn't himself script the texts or discords or whatever they are, but he's a stand-in for FBI.
  9. i suggested that a few pages ago. was met with laughing emojis. I wasn't kidding
  10. doc ellis threw a no hitter on LSD at minimum, we should be looking into microdosing arch

  16. Superhero

    Getting old sucks

Also. My eyes are getting worse with age. I've been wearing glasses for 40 years for nearsightedness. The optometrist added 2.0 at the bottom of the lens for reading. I find myself raising my eyes to look at the computer screen because the text is too small, and I lose too much real estate if I increase the size of the font. Time to go get my eyes checked again.
  17. No, those are being driven by your wife.
  18. It didn't blow me away, but I liked it. The acting was great and it took me forever to place the kid who played Curly - it was Jojo Rabbit all grown up.
  19. Seems like pretty simple discovery to verify the authenticity and timestamp of the texts from the, I assume, phone carrier. the “destroyed but recreated” confession letter, no clue how to authenticate that but I guess I’d expect an expert witness to walk the courtroom through it and if it’s questionable, the defense will have an opportunity to question.
  20. "it might be scripted"? Ana, don't tell me you're participating in LUNACY?!?!
  21. Yeah, that's fair. I don't expect the staff to give a detailed presentation about what they're doing to fix it. My hope is more to get some kind of insight from our insiders based on their experience. For example, it's obvious that the coaches are taking this situation seriously because how could they not. But I'm tired of hearing our insiders just repeat the line that the problem is temporary and that it will take care of itself. I would like to hear what Gerry and Bobby think about what the staff is doing. I agree that you can't heap more pressure on the kid, but what are your options then? I like CTJ's suggestion of reducing the number of reads and just telling him to pull the trigger sooner. You could also take a Bull Durham approach and give him permission to fuck up - just start throwing the ball more and don't worry about being perfect. I coached baseball and we had a kid who's dad had fucked up his swing. The boy was constantly worrying about where his feet were, where his hands were, keeping his elbow tight on his side. And he couldn't hit the ball. Eventually he stopped actually swinging the bat and started placing it in front of the ball, almost like a bunt or a cricket bat, because he was so petrified of missing. I took him aside and told him to just swing the bat as hard as he could. I don't care where your hands or feet are, I don't care where your elbows go. Just eyes on the ball, and swing as hard as you physically can. And of course, the kid immediately started hammering dingers (otherwise I wouldn't be telling this story). I don't know what the equivalent of that advice is to a high level QB. But I would like to think that Sark does. And goddamnit, but you fucking got me to write a dissertation, didn't you.
