  2. I don’t know if I ever saw the OG but my insta-Facebook is blowing up with the current day JLH… so… worth a screening?
  3. Shooting matters if you can't do it.... As you stated, you get pretty open looks in summer league unless you're creating bad shots (which a lot of guards and wings do by forcing it). Jones-Garcia can play in the league..... maybe as nothing more than a Patty Mills or Jaren Jackson off the bench, but his defense does need to get better. Harper has to find a jump shot, but his ability to penetrate will carry him next year like Castle. Gotta get much better shooting in the first 3-4 years. It either happens or it won't usually. Bryant has a ton of work to do. He's 3-24 on FGs in Vegas. 1-12 from 3. In today's NBA, you have to be able to hit 3's if you have almost no offensive game and rely on defense. Who's the last guy who was OTB defense only? Tony Allen? That was almost 10 years ago since his prime. I'm with you on Minix but he does understand the game, has good instincts, but he's a rotten athlete and will he shoot well enough to ever make any impact, because that's his ticket. 8-16 from 3 in Vegas and he's rebounded pretty well too, but he doesn't do much with the ball.... just needs to be able to knock down open looks. Not a great passer.... as a wing, not a great look. rest of the team are jags...
  4. Morgan fucking Lutrell is in Congress. Of course he is
  5. I feel like residential solar will crash soon - anyone wanna short RUN and make a killling? it is volitile and they are going to do layoffs soon. whats the play here?

  8. This is good writing and has inspired me to revisit some of my favorite Red Smith and Grantland Rice articles. Thank you.
  9. Those rich fucks....This whole fucking thing... I did not watch my buddies die face down in the muck so that this fucking strumpet there is a literal connection I think. fucking hell the average American is just so damn emotionally unintelligent.
  10. Odd, it would appear that 210 Dems 'in power' in the House want it released. Not that this resolution would be binding or anything anyways, but it is funny that the R's were able to find just 1 more vote than the Dems had present to shut this down, and then let some of their people not vote on it to save face or something. It's interesting who didn't vote for the R's, since every one of these people won their district easily. I wonder why they don't vote to release the files? What are they scared of? Trump/Bondi/Patel would ignore this resolution if it passed anyways. During a recent House vote on a procedural measure related to the release of Jeffrey Epstein files (Roll Call 195 on H. Res. 580), Nine Republicans abstained from voting: Andy Ogles (TN) Michael McCaul (TX) Thomas Massie (KY) Barry Loudermilk (GA) Wesley Hunt (TX) Morgan Lutrell (TX) Mark Green (TN) Monica De La Cruz (TX) Buddy Carter (GA)
  11. That tweet in post #2674 has either been deleted/blocked or user made private. Post directly above still shows.
  12. Good girl, Penny! I'm so sorry.
  13. Saw the movie tonight. Highly recommend. Obvious F1 wouldn't fucking happen that ways, but cinematic license and whatnot. Cinematography is ridiculous. Integration with actual F1 is better than any other sports movie/pro league ever.
  14. You can't make great stuff without taking risks. They don't always payoff, but when they do... I totally agree with you about Verhoeven. He's got a worldview which doesn't make it into major motion pictures much.
  15. That was what I expected to be the first answer, and I agree.
  16. I didn't want to see it, but a friend talked me into it. It's a very clever movie. Do you want to know more?
  17. he is pretty popular, but mostly follows the alt right trajectory in the manosphere. He has shown some heart here and there (like Gaza genocide) which is nice. but having a heart and soul come around at the point of genocide is nice I guess too stupid to think past tomorrow like most of the others in middle America
  18. I've owned some electrostats -- Martin Logans and Eminent Technologies -- the latter were considerably better than the former. They threw an effortless soundstage, but still needed a dynamic woofer. Honestly, I think the Magnepans I owned (which were their budget model) were even better, and not electrostats, but still a panel speaker. That's probably where I'd head next if I wanted some giant full range panels (+ a sub if needed).
  19. Agree. Tangentially, politico deals in fact. I was disappointed to learn times of India has a mixed relationship with fact.
  20. grhorn again, eh?
  21. lol if you think we’re getting rate cuts. Not happening this year as inflation ticks up. I’m resigned to 6.5 to 7 percent rates for mortgage for the next twelve months and it’s going to really drag on home buying. Personally I’m at five percent so I don’t think I’m ever refinancing, just paying it off.
  22. it sucks now - https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=edb9f998570affa4&rlz=1C1RXQR_enUS1085US1089&sxsrf=AE3TifOBVfFtFcQm0adWYlRrMbTbocsiUQ:1752723413246&si=AMgyJEtok4lboMoUiv_nb1khKpaNQYtsWkbl-fufv_Rd2p4cXEwmbLHt3ZLHGKVOgkYa1mZ0O7iRTc2z_jGELLq1rkUjWDAykPYJOKoyNfhNJYnh4TMBDokn_Zo6m9v3ZII9zBL3Fj89&q=Scholz+Garten+Reviews&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwifor7D-8KOAxU0mGoFHc2mIIYQ0bkNegQIOhAE&biw=1311&bih=620&dpr=1.25 anyone know who bought that place in 2017? horrible place now. I almost want to buy it from them and make it cool again.
  23. Those are nice, but you know what, fuck this state. I'm sick of it. If I could move, I would, but I'm not supporting these shit ass leaders.
