That's why you bounce your access off 9 different substations throughout the world and 2 satellites. -
I can’t imagine she’d get an offer from Jennie if she can’t shoot the ball

Everything is Shit: Tracking the Great Enshittening
Brisketexan replied to 956 Worldwide's topic in Daily Texan
I am a man of complexity and contradictions. I love Michelin-star meals, and Allsup's burritos. I am an 8th generation Texan with multiple pairs of dirty work boots who loves traveling to and spending time in European world capitals. Don't try to understand me. Just be in awe of my beautiful complexity. And make sure I don't run outta k-cups, I get cranky when I miss my morning coffee. -
That's why the last 3 arcs will be movies instead of series. I'm sure they'll do like they did with Mugen train arc and release it as an episodic 8 episode season with stuff thrown in(allthougth my ONLY complaint is they probably made this too long...could have shaved 20 minutes easy). But I enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next ne.

Marvel Cinematic Universe the Endless Phase: Tripping Balls (Spoilers)
Drew replied to atomheartbevo's topic in Movies and TV
I find it mostly a toned down Super hero Movie(as it would be since most characters don't have massive super powers other than the final boss, and it was even very tame compared to other CGI shit fests). So I appreciated it for that. -
Shit goin' down in the Chess world. Cheating.
crash_davis replied to Parliament's topic in Daily Texan
I cannot imagine cheating so that you would will the rock skimming championship? Like that was going to get the dudes more imaginary pussy than they previously were getting. Cheating scandal rocks world stone skimming championships. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp982r99rrmo The world stone skimming championships have been rocked by a cheating scandal, after several competitors were disqualified for tampering. More than 2,200 people, from 27 countries, attended this year's event on the tiny island of Easdale off the west coast of Scotland. Rules state that stones must come from naturally occurring island slate, however some were found to have been ground into a "suspiciously circular" shape to help them bounce on water. Organiser Dr Kyle Mathews told BBC News that the offenders had "held their hands up" and apologised. Entrants choose their own stones and judges use a measuring device, the "ring of truth", to ensure they are no bigger than three inches in diameter. Each competitor is allowed three skims and stones must bounce at least twice on water before sinking. Stones are measured by judges using the "ring of truth" Dr Matthews, also known as the "Toss Master", told BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland that judges heard "rumours and murmurings of some nefarious deeds". "There was a little bit of stone doctoring," he said. "They had shaped it so that it was perfectly circular and fitted our three inch measurer. "As it's a piece of metal, I don't think we can blame it too much. "The problem was we didn't just notice at the time that they were suspiciously circular." -
Thanks for posting. Really interesting in watching.

I remember how proud he was this summer to tell his audience that he got great early odds for Clemson winning it all. He’s always ahead of the game, even when he’s behind. -

Yeah, I mean, they're so close to white that we'll probably kick them out last, amirite? Edit for a more serious response. Yes, some Indians claim that some DEI policies have hurt them. But they have, without question, benefitted from affirmative action and diversity initiatives in university settings over several decades, and that will be on the chopping block soon enough. They are still brown and foreign. -
4 seasons is one of the best parts of the weather for Amarillo. I missed it when we lived in Houston, and I have loved it since we returned. and the elevation eradicates that fucking humidity too. The Spring and Fall are generally awesome. Summer this year in particular was borderline spectacular with 3 days( IIRC) over 100. Winters have been mild the past few years, save for the Arcticamageddon a few years ago, but that hit everyone.

Props to @bschoolprof for this comment and pic... bschoolprof: "This offensive line is something. I realize UTEP is pretty stout up front, but having 3-4 dudes on the ground on outside zone is probably not ideal. " Ridiculous shitshow currently by Texas OL... what a joke 🙄

Feeling of accomplishment is overrated. Keep sending the paycheck and I got all the accomplishment I need. -
I moved to Texas to get away from 4 distinct seasons. I despise cold weather. I'll take the blast furnace for a few months because the rest of the year is relatively awesome.

The frustrating thing about DEI is that EVERYONE understands the underlying concepts, as long as it is in a field where “they” belong. Every single person on this board knows that in recruiting, you don’t just blindly offer the kids who put up big numbers from Katy/Southlake/etc and call it a day. Every single person on this board understands that these big school kids have likely had all of the advantages presented to them to this point and it is not necessarily indicative of future success. Every single person on this board understands the logic behind extending an offer to someone who might have lesser stats now, but could thrive given the proper opportunity. But that’s somewhere where “they” are allowed to succeed, so nobody ever associates DEI with college football. The compounding factors on all of this, of course, is that most people who are generally labeled as a “DEI hire” absolutely have similar/better resumes than their counterparts, yet folks like @Enchubben just assume they must have only gotten the job because of the color of their skin. I won’t publicly call you a racist, but I’ll let your words speak for themselves. -
Weird how this seems to happen with every Republican administration.
