Texas Football 2025 Fall Camp - Kicking the Sonofabitch In
Steelers Roll Left replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
Don’t give a damn about hype. Beat the Buckeyes on the road, and they’ll earn that respect properly (that’s not going to be easy, and yes, it might not happen in Arch’s 1st start as Longhorns #1 QB). Lose that stiff road test, and expectations will fall, at least a little, before the calendar even turns to September though there will be plenty of time and opportunities to earn them back before the CFP is seeded -

Although an experienced OLine would be ideal, at least we have a more mobile QB in the backfield that can make more plays with his legs if protection breaks down quickly. Even with the new OLine, it anticipate fewer self-sacks this season -

Only two movies that ever fucked me up were The Exorcist, which I saw for the first time when I was 8 or 9, and Prince of Darkness. The latter doesn't review well, but it's an older (1987) John Carpenter film that's just full of fucked up scenes. Oh, and Alice Cooper has a cameo role. -

Democrats who run in Texas should crisscross the state complaining about exploding energy costs and blaming Republicans. I think that will resonate with a lot of people, including those who might become voters on the issue of waning affordability. -

I hope you all forgive me for cross-posting this ... fun watch. Got me excited for the season. Note - first stop, Texas. (Not a horror movie, though.) -

it is more about him being able to go 100% for longer in a game which, in theory, will help him defensively. he certainly modified his effort when he needed to, to stay in a game. maybe you get rid of 30 bad pounds and add back 10 good pounds. I think it will help his outside shooting also.

Swap "my parents" with "I" and you've got my most egregious parenting blunder. I knew what it wasn't, but boy were my 5yo and I surprised to learn what it was. -

This Fat Electrician guy initially appears douchey, but overall, his genuine enthusiasm for HEB is interesting to see. Learned a lot from it!

I remember being young and seeing Cinderella coming on Cinemax at 10 pm and thought, why so late but I’m gonna watch it. Mind you I was young. I learned about skinamax that night. At least before my parents figured it out lmao -
I think it's brilliant. Is it a retcon? Well, the whole Q thing was partly inspired by the Squire of Gothos, and Trelane literally told Kirk that he was basically immortal and had been observing Earth for centuries, and he exhibited the kind of powers and messing around that Q was known for.

And get sued by the perps family in a civil trial, no thanks. Guy did good, albeit he was too close and holding the gun a little weird. Easy to armchair critique, but I bet his adrenaline was through the roof and he held it together.

Branch is an athletic freak. He hasnt shown to be very good at football. If Lincoln Riley cannot figure out how to get him going, no chance Bobo can. Anderson showed potential at OU. If he is fully recovered, he could certainly make noise. He also has a good QB. -

My parents figured Watership Down was a kids' movie about a bunch of fluffy bunny rabbits. It was not a kids' movie about fluffy bunny rabbits. -
i just realized you weren't limiting this to pop/rock. if open to all genres, then this thread can basically just be: 1a. everything miles davis did from 1958 to 1970. 1b. everything chet baker did from 1952 to 1965.

So sales, revenue, profit, etc. are down in various places, we have seen plenty of unsold inventory being stored around Texas, and they aren't sure what the carbon credit stuff is going to do to their revenue long-term. But they are opening a new factory in Taylor next year and dumping tens of billions into it, including $16.5 billion to Samsung. Bro, you’ve been on the ball here. The Olines are key in allowing the skill guys to do their thing. The conference may regressed with their offensive philosophies a bit too. P. Steele has A&M and UF high on its Oline rankings. They have very good backs with potentially dynamic QBs. Perhaps a bit more unknowns at pass catching. UGA has largely lived with out talenting their opponents the past 5 years. That may be over. Outside of Bama, maybe MSU, , I’m not sure beyond the two previously mentioned there are SEC teams that could present us with issues. It’s not enough to have 1 threat or maybe even two threats to succeed against us. We don’t know who that could be at this time. Theyll need to score at least 20 to compete against us and sometimes that’ll be 30+. That is difficult to imagine with what we have versus what they have. The Gators at home are the biggest threat in my opinion. To our benefit, they should have bigger goals and other teams to gain their focus than to simply circle our game as the end all, be all.
