  1. Past hour
  2. Ray & Joey Meyer at DePaul.
  3. Yeah, we have been at a few tracks in a row that have probably flattered the Red Bull a bit and nullified the McLaren’s strengths. Even if that weren’t the case, it would still take a lot more bottling by McLaren for them to mess it up that badly. They have done it before, though.
  4. Are you taking into account that he had the strongest, most muscular neck ever seen; a neck capable of supporting that ginormous head all day every day?
  5. Bullet big. Bullet fast. Bullet go through things like skull and not stop. Bullet then go through other body parts and not stop. Unless it's Charlie Kirk's neck. Then bullet too weak to do anything but stop because God said so.
  6. Are we sure that the bullet didn't hit something else first? I know there was speculation about it hitting some body armor, but I have seen no credible evidence that he was wearing any, unless his armor had nipples on it. Could the bullet have hit a table or mic or camera or something else and ricocheted into his neck?
  7. when do we begin the conversation about mental decline again? oh wait fuck
  8. We know that we need competent QB play, have struggled to run the ball consistently and have a stifling defense. We know a bit about this team. I guess you don’t watch the games.
  9. Lagway is on the bad side of the Arch early season mental soup. He made way better throws in his limited action last season, so the guy isn't a bust from a talent perspective. If he actually goes into the portal A&M is going to send a private jet to park in his driveway. Negotiating mid season is certainly a choice, is he trying to save Napier?
  10. Texas Hoops: Practice begins Thursday; Duke game 42 days away By Gerry Hamilton Sean Miller's first season at Texas begins in 42 days in Charlotte vs. the Duke Blue Devils. Prior to that first game as head coach at Texas, the Longhorns will conduct 30 practices in 42 days per NCAA rules. The Longhorns in year one under Miller are considered a top 25 team by some, and fringe top 25-30 team by others. They are a team projected to make the NCAA Tournament. Making the NCAA Tournament in year one under a new coach is not a given. Todd Golden didn't make the tournament in year one at Florida, Danny Hurley the same at UConn, Rick Barnes the same at Tennessee, Bruce Pearl the same Auburn (Happy retirement), Nate Oats the same at Alabama, etc.. I said that to say this, the Texas staff is excited about the roster constructed in year one. There is feeling the team could out perform the rankings/expectations. A lot of that will come down to the guards and wings shooting the three well enough, and playing off of each in Miller's system. The 2025-26 Longhorns will be the tallest/longest team in a long time on the 40 Acres, if not ever. Only one player measures less than 6-foot-3. There is also plenty of NCAA Tournament experience on this team. Cam Heide played in National Championship game at Purdue, and had a strong NCAA Tournament last year. Tramon Mark has been part of a Final Four team at Houston, and multiple NCAA Tournament teams. Simeon Wilcher was a starter at St. John's on a No. 2 seed team a year ago. Dailyn Swain was a big part of Xavier's NCAA Tournament team last year. Chendall Weaver has played in two straight NCAA Tournaments at Texas, and Jordan Pope got his first NCAA Tournament action a year ago. Texas current 2025-26 roster... Tramon Mark, CG, 6-6, Gr. (10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Simeon Wilcher, CG, 6-4, junior (8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Jordan Pope, CG, 6-0, senior (11.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Chendall Weaver, G, 6-3, senior (6.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Dailyn Swain, F/G, 6-8, junior (11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals at Xavier) Camden Heide, F, 6-7, junior (4.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 39.2% from three at Purdue) Matas Vokietaitas, C, 7-0, sophomore (10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds at FAU) Lassina Traore, C, 6-10, senior (11.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists in 2023-24 at LBSU) Nic Codie, PF, 6-9, sophomore John Clark, PF, 6-8.5, freshman Declan Duru, F, 6-8.5, freshman Lewis Obiorah, C, 7-1, freshman The team ... Tramon Mark, CG, 6-6, Gr. - starting lead guard. Solid player that will be an improved offensive player in Miller's system. Simeon Wilcher, CG, 6-4, junior - has been very good since arriving at Texas. High hopes here, with much improved 3-point shooting. Likely the key to Texas playing above their ranking. Jordan Pope, CG, 6-0, senior - role player shooter and floor spacer off bench. Texas needs him to be an 11-12 ppg level scorer. Chendall Weaver, G, 6-3, senior - very key role player that should find more offensive fit possibilities playing on the move for Sean Miller Dailyn Swain, F/G, 6-8, junior - Pro player, that would be a NBA lottery pick if he shot the three well. Terrific all-around basketball player with versatility. A forward/wing that plays like a guard. Will play some big guard in big lineups, at times. Camden Heide, F, 6-7, junior - key role player and floor spacer with athletic ability Matas Vokietaitas, C, 7-0, sophomore - Has shown very good motor, hands, toughness and improved game since being at Texas. Pro player on some level in two years. Lassina Traore, C, 6-10, senior - How he comes back off the ACL will tell the story. Likely he and Matas split minutes for most part at the 5. Nic Codie, PF, 6-9, sophomore - most improved player from a year ago. If that carries over to games, Codie will be a starter or starter level player. John Clark, PF, 6-8.5, freshman - Body has improved after missing senior season. Back in basketball shape. Will battle for role minutes. Declan Duru, F, 6-8.5, freshman - One of the most talented players in the program. Can be a pro player. Combo forward with high-end vertical athletic ability. Sees the game pretty well, and makes catch and shoot three's. Lewis Obiorah, C, 7-1, freshman - will be a developmental player this season and get stronger... unless there is injury or he races past expectations. Potential starting lineups ... Three guard: Tramon Mark, CG, 6-6, Gr. (10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Simeon Wilcher, CG, 6-4, junior (8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Chendall Weaver, G, 6-3, senior (6.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Dailyn Swain, F/G, 6-8, junior (11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals at Xavier) Matas Vokietaitas, C, 7-0, sophomore (10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds at FAU) Big lineup: Tramon Mark, CG, 6-6, Gr. (10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists) Simeon Wilcher, CG, 6-4, junior (8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists) Dailyn Swain, F/G, 6-8, junior (11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals at Xavier) Nic Codie, PF, 6-9, sophomore Matas Vokietaitas, C, 7-0, sophomore (10.2 points, 5.4 rebounds at FAU) Texas schedule ... 11. Well one is a conman and the other is a lawyer. And they provided zero proof of their claims.
  12. I don't think Max will win Singapore. The car has never liked that track, even when it was dominant. If he does, shit might just get interesting especially if Piastri doesn't get it together. I think Lando would wilt if it did come down to himself and Max.
  13. Why don’t they just walk out. Im asking that earnestly, similar to press corp just not giving him an audience/oxygen.
  14. Cross-posting from Bobby's "Tuesday" post on the football board: ** Texas recruiting continues to plug along. The Horns have only offered one new player based off of senior film, Colorado linebacker Braylon Hodge. But, in true Sark style, the Horns have stayed on two of their top prospects who committed elsewhere earlier this summer. The persistence seems to be paying dividends. Receiver Jalen Lott (Oregon) and defensive end Dre Quinn (Clemson) are two targets who are very much in the crosshairs of Sark’s aim. Both are real possibilities for the Longhorns to flip. Remember all the hand-wringing over recruiting in the months of June and July? ** Also in recruiting, Louisiana defense tackle Dylan Berrymon is headed back to Ole Miss this weekend after spending last weekend in Austin. Though he says he remains firmly pledged to the Longhorns, it’ll be the second trip to Oxford for Berrymon this season. Hook’Em!
  15. It's not Napier's last stand. That man is toast. We're just playing out the string, now. The outcome against Texas won't matter either way. I don't care how interesting a game is if Texas wins. Texas has played a lot of interesting games where they didn't put the opponent away the way I felt like they should have. But the win is all that matters. You don't even believe Arkansas is going to win that game. So what are we talking about exactly? Do the Razorbacks get beauty points for making it interesting? If Texas goes 10-2 in the regular season they're still making it in to the playoffs. I have concerns about Georgia in Athens, unless/until I have some kind of belief that Manning won't shit the bed. But I believe we'll beat OU, A&M, and Vanderbilt, and I believe we'll take care of the other teams on the schedule. The wiggle room will be enough. If we lose to the Sooners in the Cotton Bowl then I'll start getting concerned.
  16. There is no law specifically for domestic terror groups, so his executive order just directed the government to continue doing things they could already do. It was all for show.
  17. not @F250, but whoever made the requests...
  18. You should have - I was definitely there. You should have just yelled MULEDICK
  19. Wouldn’t a 9-0 decision to seriously limit a popular and powerful POTUS suggest it hasn’t always been this level of Calvinball.
