pure rage. about 15 years ago I fully stopped giving a single fuck about any deadline given to me that was requested after Dec 15th for "HOT!!! must have before Christmas!!!!". Wasted way too many hours of vacation and family time grinding on shit only to be told, "yeah thanks, I'll give it a look after the New Year".

I've seen like 20 different versions of this scenario played out on social media the past couple of weeks. Always hot waitresses. My first response is, "I can fix her" and then I realize its got to be AI. Furk.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

I believe that’s known as a 6-Star - -
For me he passes the eye ball test. He doesn’t have the acromegaly features Oden did for example. I think he will be around a long time and be an all time great but anyone that height is a crapshoot. DVT’s are very often a sign of some other underlying condition so I can’t be sure on that one.

Ruben Bain, John Henry Daley, Colin Simmons are all better. Not even a question.

i’m literally just starting the ubiquitous “criticize the coach” thread, but it’s cute that you think so deeply about me and my motivations for posting about the HC of Texas Basketball here in the Texas Basketball forum.

I want us to compete and play well on offense. Arch needs to look good because there’s no excuse there. Defense we are just going to have to understand it’s like a spring game there.

For folks in the know... Juluke vs Frank Wilson as RB coaches and recruiters???

I was in a similar spot, got down to 14.2, best in my life. Slid back to 17.5 with a couple really good rounds rolling off, but feeling really good about how it's going. But same, when I was 14.2 mid-year was hoping single digits in 2026, but dropping 8 shots feels unlikely but then again, I will turn my cap over 4 times, so no reason why not!

here’s my question, one that i’ve had for decades now, that still has no answer: why is it a federal crime to post judgment and negativity? why do so many of you react this way every single time someone is critical of shaka smart, sam ehlinger, quinn ewers, jarrett allen, rodney terry, ted lasso, game of thrones, rick & morty, and on and on and on? you can post a million supportive words that say “this coach/player/tv show is the best!!!” and nobody has a problem with it, but as soon as you’re like, “yeah this guy isn’t good enough”, or, “this tv show isn’t as good as it used to be” everyone is all ThEn wHy ArE yOu EvEn pOsTiNg AbOuT It??!?!?? it’s so stupid. and it’s antithetical to the entire purpose of shaggy. pancho, you were like the third member of shaggy and you’re in here making this weak ass argument? “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t post at all”? why are y’all like this? especially you? it’s so obviously stupid and backwards, and yet it never fails. NCAA: NO CRITICISM AT ALL. foh

San Antonio Spurs 2025-26 - Release the Kraken
Mitch Cumsteen replied to Mitch Cumsteen's topic in Basketball
I think Kornet for sure would have helped but his minutes were wonky since Vic was on the restriction. Kornet had already played 33 minutes. I don't know how much he had left in the tank at the end for the French Vanilla combo. -

Even when we were up 11, my gut was telling me this game "felt" like a loss. Just had all the hallmarks of it. I hate being right. I agree, he loves playing with spite. -
Is that really a question, though? We're all familiar with Derka's bullshit. He has a pathological need to play Cassandra on any subject matter in which he's interested. This thread helps him establish, firmly and full-throated, that he was out on Sean Miller first. He told all of us first. No one would listen!!! He told us and we sat by and did nothing!!! What the fuck is wrong with all of you??!??! Do you not know ball or are you just a bunch of fucking sunshine pumping CDC apologist, god damn you!! Never mind that no one on this site outside of a few known pollyannas are doing anything but behaving like normal fans at this moment in time. There is zero entertainment or value in sprinting out to the middle of the forum and lamenting the shame and futility of the Miller hire unless you're a narcissist who needs to show everybody how right you are and how stupid everyone else is. Most of us just want to root for the program and hope some of what they're seeing isn't so damning that we're going through the whole process again in 4 years, even though we probably will be and we all fucking know that, but there's no fun or value in starting with that premise right now. The least surprising thing I've witnessed in a very unsurprising day so far is that Derka started this thread. It actually gave me pause and I had the thought: "wait, he hasn't started one of these already?"

Trafficked, exploited, married off: Rohingya children's lives crushed by foreign aid cuts: I don't think it's too extreme to say that the people responsible for this should be slowly lowered into vats of acid.

Oh my sweet summer child. We're too busy making it our official national policy. We're going back 200 years in a mere 11 months. Undoing that can't be done until our grandchildren's grandchildren are in charge.

People will not know or will ignore that it happened and when their premiums don’t go up they’ll say the librul media lied about the premiums and that Trump saved them from evil Obamacare. That is how stupid people are now. I’m leaning towards let all the bad things happen. There’s no reversing this shit. Let it fucking burn and rebuild from scratch with whatever’s left.

Thanks for the article. He's such a physical outlier anyway, One of one. I don't know how analogous adolescent academy soccer players playing for a club team in Europe are to the type of specific training and attention to injury prevention that Wemby has been going through since he was 14 years old. The strained calf and the ankle sprains I think are par for the course for NBA players in general. I was speaking more specifically to the deep vein thrombosis than growth-related injuries like Osgood-Schlatter´s disease. Since that's what knocked him out of the season last year. I think the reports that he's still growing are bullshit, but who knows? He played 71 games as a rookie and then 46 out of 52 games last year before the DVT. But for sure injuries were always going to be the biggest question about his career.

In addition to packing the SC, one of the most urgent things that must be done post Trump is to make racism unpopular and socially unacceptable again.
