That's the NFL and Fantasy Football every year. Especially with the way August training camps have scaled back. Our mind palaces have shattered, as Chris Harris says (one of the best analysts in the biz). We all construct these grandiose prognostications and predictions in our head, and by week two reality reduces them to rubble.

Somebody recommended wearing a garter belt in another thread. Why not? It couldn't hurt at this point. "Rose goes in the front, big guy."

Charlie Kirk assassinated at an event in Utah (by a 22 YO groyper)

I'm been trying to form cohesive thoughts about it for a while, but I firmly believe we are witness the largest scale of narcissistic abuse in world history. As someone that had to deal with this for 10 years and was finally able to get out of it, all the signs are there. People who still support Trumpism just really want to make the relationship work out. And you're doing whatever you can - excusing behavior, excusing actions, falling for the victimization - to survive. You are in a fog of complete mental fuckery. There are tens of millions of people who are being narcissistically abused on a daily basis by a spouse, family member, friend, co-worker, etc. They know something is off, but they can't recognize it. They don't want to divorce themselves from this entity, and so it never ends. Constant manipulation. IMO it's the most sinister and damaging form of abuse, as it's hard to detect and to pin down. When I was getting myself out of the situation, it was interesting to note that the vast majority of therapists who help with narcissistic abuse were victims of it themselves. You practically have to live it to understand it. Now Charlie Kirk? He is absolutely a flying monkey. As our all of the other right-wing personalities and politicians that bend the knee to Trump. They are the ones that are validating this bullshit, and sending this country into a full blown national divorce. -
Only Alabama under Saban did not have rebuild years. So I am going to disagree with First. The rest ok. Arch is struggling so are some of the lineman. Sark needs to adjust as to what reality is and make this a winner. I would be perfectly fine if Arch never threw a pass under 5 yards. so far he has shown he can't do it consistently. So do the things he does well.

Seeing Katherine LaNassa’s speech was jarring. Sounded totally different.

He needs to cut the head off a live rooster.

I watched the video you are referencing all the way through. It's not that gory. The evidence presented makes it pretty clear that he was wearing armor plating and that the bullet struck the top of the plate where it has a contour and the bullet fragmented with part of it entering his neck and going up into his cranial cavity. Why was he wearing body armor? Might be as simple as he knew he was in the business of purposely pissing people off for money.

It’s just a weird weird development in a state that’s weird and kinda on edge a bit. So for me trying to figure out shit I put it to the side. Don’t see it as related but at the same time it’s relevant only because of being in close enough proximity to the shooting and bc of the timing. But when I look at perps I don’t go “well this must be a frame job (not saying it isn’t) as opposed to two individuals doing their own thing.” I don’t see a larger connection and I don’t understand why they would even do that in the first place. Blow up a local news van had the device functioned as intended? Why? Weird shit,

Most internet edgelord boys are hopelessly irony poisoned. I'm guessing he knew it was antifascist but still thought the fascism was cool as hell, enjoyed the irony of the actual fascist characters calling their victims the real fascists, and loved how confused normies would be by his use of the meme.

if they can get up to 200+ flamingos, a month, that will overwhelm they’re already sketchy air defenses or rather quickly. Of course, the X factor is as this gets closer a desperate Soviet Union will try to destroy all electrical generation facilities - and maybe water purification/sewerage systems. Essentially Russia will go even more scorched earth on their attempt to create more civilian destruction to slow Ukraine down. And obviously, they will focus on flamingo and drone production sites. This is where being able to produce Ukraine munitions in NATO countries to be shipped across the border upon completion is critical. I doubt Russia sends missile strikes into Poland or Finland, or a Baltic nation, so I hope a large part of the production is outside Ukraine.

If I'm Arch, I watch the Miss St game from last year a few times. After that, he can sit cross-legged and meditate while burning incense, or hell, hashish. Maybe do it with McConaughey and play the bongos naked afterwards, IDGAF. Anything to get his mind right.

As a Berkeley grad, I'm no defender of UCLA, but if I were to pin the Pac 12's demise on any school, it's USC, and in reality it's just Larry Scott. UCLA always felt like they were just along for the ride in the B1G move.

I'm on week 6. I fully expect to still be looking into next year easily.

QB1 Arch Manning: Doing his best JAG impression to fool scouts
Irish Wrist Watch replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
Remember, these kids are really into their bodies, as well as their girlfriend's bodies. They want to look good, and at that age they can bulk up fast. The real problem with the wrong kind of lifting is not that it can screw up your agility for a few hours, which it definitely can, but in trying to do what you're used to doing effortlessly, say throw a deep pass... you do that with tightened, bulked up muscles, and you can tear and permanently injure tissue, especially tendons. Things just won't work like they should and there may be no going back. I was a little surprised to read that Brady apparently never lifted weights, but it makes sense. Almost never injured. Then again, why do you think players "stretch" before a game - to avoid injuries. Do QBs stretch? Hope so, but if they decide to skip the slow warm up and let one fly... -
he said he was more aggressive than what the book says but "that's who we are" we are aggressive and we are going for it i think this was in response to a question about not taking points
