  2. They voted for Trump because of transparency and accountability? No wonder they're fucking poor.
  3. Yougov poll about to find itself embroiled in a $500 million lawsuit from the administration. I wonder if hat kind of settlement they’ll make…. 50 million to the β€˜library’ and free polling for republican candidates for the next two cycles?
  4. i didn’t realize that bo ogden is the no.36 player in the country. i knew he was a four star, but didn’t realize he was that highly rated.
  5. We live in a 24/7 dunk on everyone timeline.
  6. It was a book by his bedside... According to his ex-wife. Not that Putin doesn't enjoy the same reading, to be certain. Times like these I wish so many of my fellow citizens actually knew the the political origins of the changes in the power dynamics and use of demonization, leading into WWII. The use of the same tools, disinformation, citizen mobs, demonization of minorities, attacking the intellectuals, suppression of free speech and asking neighbors to report on neighbors. Lots of boxes being checked from my count. Using Christianity as the rallying point for all these tools, is the lynchpin. And these actions will affect the market over time. Can anyone tell me what is going to be good for the market long term, if these trends continue? --------------- We are now entering the "boil the frog" part of Trumps economic policies. Companies with diverse product lines are absorbing tariffs by raising prices across the board, rather than on the imported products where the increases are actually being felt. Because if they raise the prices only on the prices where the costs have increased, that would identify to the American consumer that tariffs do specifically raise consumer prices on specific goods. And that would be very bad... politically. What is better is to raise all prices a little bit, and for the retailer. Increasing prices on American made goods, to offset imported goods price increases. Increase price and profit margin on US made goods, to protect the sales of foreign made goods with import taxes on them. Now rather than having inflation limited to identifiable products the American consumer can specifically avoid. Instead the American consumer sees all costs going up at the grocery store. All to try and prevent political (not business) fallout of actually having the true costs of tariffs demonstrated to the consumer. When the expense is spread to all skus you cannot avoid it by, buying American. So FU consumer, let's create inflation that is unavoidable, slower and more sustained. On the Employment side of the equation you have the same boil the frog scenario. Mainly because our statistical modeling for job creation and unemployment depend on accuracy. And we have not had contractions in the workforce as a whole in the past. Trump's immigration policies have made this part of the equation very, very difficult to calculate and thus the information may be inaccurate until after multiple backwards looking revisions. It's hard to have an accurate percentage when your know the denominator you are using is likely inaccurate. Despite you best efforts for accuracy. On the bright side... Looks like fucking up our children via tik-tok is going to finally close in a big beautiful deal. Directly in opposition to laws passed by congress.
  7. Yeah, they've got polling out on Charlie Kirk since the shooting. Turns out most young people hated his ass and it was only the 65+ boomer age demo who had a positive view on him. Surprise fucking surprise. Only a quarter of the people polled were very familiar with him. Most hardly knew anything about him and didn't give a shit. Page 12-13 https://data.ddhq.io/polls/2025/09/16/YouGov/The Economist-National-2025-09-12-2025-09-15 Also, on a side note, Trump is underwater bigly across the board in this poll.
  8. His postgame remarks yesterday…he’s such a piece of the shittiest shit there ever was. Just when I think I can’t hate this douchebag any more he proves me wrong. Fuck you BM.
  9. We got this. We made it folks. Now go get your fleece and uggs ready.
  10. TBH that sounds about par for driving on I-10. Folks are getting worse at driving
  11. It seemed like they were leaving the DBs one on one with him pretty regular too. If they had a better qb, it would have been a blowout by auburn. They were getting open on double moves a bunch.
  12. Series debuted on this date in 1994. Could Friends BE more quintessential 90's?
  13. Started the day yesterday in Katy. On the hotel elevator an Asian looking dude offered that he and his wife were going to see, for the first time, dolphins in the Gulf of America. Said something about wondering if they were different from dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. I thought he was joking. In the car on the way home my wife mentioned tell tale signs the guy and his wife were ex-military, which I had missed. Three times on the way back to Austin, folks just decided to merge into my lane with my car in their way. Weird ass day.
  14. The racist relativism that’s happened since 2015 is pretty fucking wild. But I guess I can’t truly know what he felt in his heart of hearts so you could argue he wasn’t a racist by the narrowest definition of racist (noun). But sure as shit he said a ton of racist (adjective) stuff. Boy howdy he ticked every single one of those definitions racist noun A person who believes a particular race is superior to others. A person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others. adjective Of, relating to, or advocating racism. Based on racial intolerance. Discriminatory especially on the basis of race or religion
  15. You don’t have the balls. Some folks at that tailgate will have been vaccinated and you won’t risk getting infected with their 5g woke mind virus that will make you believe the world is round.

  18. Being a racist isn't a matter of popular opinion. Especially when "half the country" are pretty avowed racists themselves.
  19. 3,2,1. Religion has produced some pretty cool artistic and architecturally significant shit at least. Instagram has hotties you can follow with a burner account so that people can’t tell you’re a degenerate… or so I’m told. But I seriously can’t seem to find anything redeeming about Oklahoma.
  20. Texas gonna clamp down and make it illegal to be a Democrat before the Midterm Primaries in March
  21. Cancelled. And also took the money I was spending on Hulu/Disney and set up a monthly donation in that amount to NPR and PBS.
  22. I don’t know, getting shot in the neck doesn’t sound so bad after that.
  23. either there is no god, or he really really hates us.
