  2. That is actually a decent idea. Money goes to the right place and he's a big outdoorsman. Maybe pair it with a book about public lands or the articles showing how this admin is attacking everything wilderness and owned by the people.
  3. Like a Frog in boiling water? Except what dies isn't the brand, it's just democracy. You know, the economic status quo has been getting worse in Russia/The USSR/Russian Federation for like...75 years. How's that working out for them and their brand? I also reject your list of 3 things that can damage brand loyalty out of hand. But I'll play along. We'll go ahead and assign, for the purposes of this conversation, that removing a bunch of poor people's health care in red states, people who often don't even have any concept that their health is coming from the ACA and government subsidies, as Injury. As you said, injury can damage a brand. And here I am, cheering for maximum Injury. You're choosing for less Injury in favor of...I guess we'll call laughing at Mike Johnson Incoherence, I guess?
  4. Yes. It would be much too long. Anything over 24 hours and you'll notice a difference in not only taste but texture. The longer it sits the more pronounced the effect.
  5. There is a non-zero chance that he's trying to invade Cuba and he pointed to the wrong place on a map.
  6. sandwich prices are out of control !!!
  7. either i am too inarticulate or the English language is not adequate enough to fully express my feelings on this one.
  8. Until Waco comes up and removes all doubt.
  9. We had a great GM in Billy Glasscock. Then Sark let him walk to Ole Miss, and replaced him with a less effective yes-man in Brandon Harris.
  10. Similar to DMo, Endries isn’t really a value add outside of his good hands and experience. They both require scheming to get their looks. Both of the freshmen show greater potential. I also somehow thought Washington was faster than he looked this year.
  11. Just make sure to hire a good work team to do it. Steer clear of starving MAGAs, they just want to game the system and get their disability checks and shit. Maybe hire you some mexicans, and get that shit done right, quick, and for a good price.
  12. I would love to be the contractor that gets to rip all this propaganda bullshit out once these shit stains are gone.
  13. Um, it was written by King James, dumbass.
  14. What is it? A WIN. That's what it is.
  15. Hey, aggies finally got themselves a trophy, so put it on the wall: https://www.statesman.com/entertainment/television/article/texas-a-m-student-the-voice-winner-nbc-finale-21247697.php?utm_content=img&sid=689778998283b1454f057a30&ss=A&st_rid=null&utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=roundup&utm_campaign=stsm | breaking news and top stories
  16. This is why more and more colleges are going to the General Manager model. At Tech, Joey and his coaches can concentrate on game prep while James Blanchard and his team handle all the recruiting, transfer portal, NIL, etc. business. In addition, Joey has Antonio Huffman and his team to handle all the administrative chores that aren't part of recruiting, transfer portal, NIL, etc. Take a look at just the support staff, and look at their job titles: https://texastech.com/sports/football/coaches
  17. Of course not. What’s a few hundred thousand dead kids, right?
  18. To give Endries some credit, it felt like he was the primary victim of Arch throwing passes at open receivers' feet in the first half of the year.
  19. hell of a first play by jayton
  20. We had a Google sheet last time, we could do something similar or there’s probably some more modern way to do it. Sheet is probably easy enough…. 2023 Burpee Tracker - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JCyrVkOLzm06n7my0o7e3s4zFqxGfyRC0J7PCbAJ-Gw/edit?usp=drivesdk
  21. he also had one catch for 50 yards. other than that hes been a nil drain all year.
  22. You have a general manager
  23. Their economic status quo has been getting worse for five decades- that’s how brand loyalty works. It’s an elasticity killer. That’s literally how you measure the value of the brand: how much more loyal customers are willing to pay, just for the brand. There are only a couple of things that can damage brand loyalty: insult, indifference, and incoherence. What’s happening to the Republican Party right now is all three- they keep saying “we’re winning,” when they are losing, and they are speaking to their least loyal (ie most persuadable)customers in a way that ignores their concerns and tells them explicitly that their values don’t matter. Democrats do that constantly of course, but at the moment, they aren’t in charge so they don’t have to defend themselves.
