  1. Past hour
  2. Cool thing about Kindle was he was PARADE all American on both sides of the ball coming out of high school as a RB and LB. I don't think anyone else has ever done that. That's how you know a dude will be dominant at whatever position he's put at. Dude ran for 5,627 yards and 86 TD's, and supposedly was even better on defense. I never saw him play in HS, but he is a legend.
  3. Kid’s parents probably dropped about $15M with the custom paint job on this goalie gear. Stupid expensive.
  4. Given how scaling works, they don't need to take out all the nodes to negatively impact the network. Take out 10 or 20% of the nodes, and you'll likely realize a greater than 10 to 20% degredation of the networks throughput and usability. Plus, if Russia decides they don't care about Kessler Syndrome they could just shoot a few canisters of ball bearings into similar orbital inclinations and that'll do the same thing
  5. They probably broke the bank. He's a good player, and I would like to have him, but he would be overpayed. Plus we don't really need him. We already have at least 2 guys that are better in Simmons and Lance Jackson.
  6. We went back home to visit my parents for an "early" Christmas. My parents are 87 and 96 so I never know what to expect. With their age comes dread and sadness but want to enjoy Christmas as much as possible with them and with my direct family. Off to dinner for Christmas Eve tonight and then Christmas Day at my brother's with cousins and friends where a potentially inappropriate white elephant party will ensue. Thank you to whoever posted the "When Live Gives You Lemons, At Least its Not Chlamydia" shirt. Tee hee. I'll bring porchetta, sausage, some sides and desserts.
  7. I mean, there's been a concerted effort by the presidents chief strategist to mobilize their grievances into action. Steve Bannon has been bragging about steering GamerGate for a literal decade now. Much of the poison that flows in the veins of the incels at discussion here originates from those campaigns and strategies
  8. Oh yeah, I heard about that. I think I saw Lucky from Lucky's Puccia's was involved.
  9. We have the dancing robots and AI girl friends… when do we get West World and sex robots??
  10. Oh yeah, absolutely. They're annoying, but annoyingly consistent. It makes me actually love my aggy family because they're realists. No bullshit, just tell it how it is. If we didn't have aggy we would be bored af. Their delusional tears help us level up, and outside of winning the NC, seeing their failure is just as great.
  11. Jethro Tull founding member dies aged 82 2 hours ago Neve Gordon-Farleigh Getty Images Mick Abrahams starred on Jethro Tull's debut album, This Way, released in 1968 Mick Abrahams, a founding member of rock band Jethro Tull, has died at the age of 82. Posting on the band's official website, lead singer Ian Anderson said he was sorry to hear of the death of the "strong vocalist and experienced, powerful and lyrical guitarist". He said Luton-born Abrahams had "endured worsening ill health for the last 15 years, leaving him finally unable to perform". Anderson said Abrahams was "vitally important" to the band's early line-up and developed his musical ideas into a "tour de force display of his instrumental talents for the rest of his performing days". Jethro Tull were formed "out of the ashes" of The John Evan Band and McGregor's Engine, the blues band Abrahams formed with Clive Bunker in the Luton/Dunstable area, said Anderson. Abrahams played on Tull's first album, This Was, but left shortly after it was finished, and went on to found another successful band, Blodwyn Pig. After pursuing a solo career between 1971 and 2017, he retired from performing following a stroke. Anderson described him as a "homebody" who "liked to gig around the home counties". He said: "We all offer our condolences to Mick's family and close friends, who can feel justifiably proud of his achievements and musical legacy."
  12. Thompson has an elite trait that someone figured out how to utilize. Moore is pretty average at everything.
  13. A couple things- This just got me thinking that in some ways I admire aggy. I barely made it through the 2010's. I couldn't imagine having to dust off my pants and fill up the ole optimism jar every. single. year. Aggy has boundless energy, right up there with Cleveland Browns fans. You gotta admire the "there is always next year" mentality.
  14. This is an outstanding post. He took a lot of misfits and made them stars.
  15. It’s Christmas Eve 2025 and yall are reliving the worst moment of my childhood. Get fucked.
  16. Agree. Actual recruiters is the key. Payments are already legal, so what's an extra couple grand? I am still of the belief that the blue bloods and newer blue bloods will still be ahead of the pack, but only a few newbies will not catch up, but make it closer (TTU/Indiana).
  17. What, no jazzercize tonight? Nice. If you need to slip out tonight, I’ll be tending the pit.
  18. Oh man Sphere is fantastic. I’ve probably read it five times.
  19. Yep. I agree with you. However, if TTU weren't in the Big XII I personally don't think cash would help them. They're in a league with middle schoolers, so it makes them look better than they are. I don't think they're bad by any stretch, but you look aroind and I can see at least 6-7 teams that would beat them pretty handedly due to playing against their actual peers. TTU plays no one with the same caliber. Regardless, they're in that gray area where if they can do it, go for it. Nothing illegal about it. And yeah, straight cash, homie. Very, very few kids go to schools now because of the love. They may love it when they get there, but before all of that it's money in the bank.
  20. HV3? Remember him? I haven’t kept up with the blood money, but IIRC he took his bloody payday in part to benefit his charity work. Guess he’s real big into that in NC. I’d have to go back and read it again, but it was floating around at the time.
  21. https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/5079709/dylan-stewart https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47403146/star-edge-dylan-stewart-returning-south-carolina-26 I assume this is hyperbole given Simmons matches Stewart's career stats in one season. Or, maybe the Gamecocks broke the bank in desperation.
  22. That looks to be a new boat from the factory.
