  5. Love that Endries is interested in Burnt Ends. Gotta keep the TEs involved. Also, for the tires you should have gotten towed to a 24 hour tire shop. They're a lot cheaper than the dealership for new and used tires.
  6. Cool story time. My second cousin β€” I think of him as an uncle β€” since he’s only a few years younger than my parents β€” was a Marine helicopter pilot for 20 years. He spent some of that time flying Marine 1 and 2 and got to fly Reagan or Bush I a couple of times.
  7. All of that. One of the funniest was the discussion about Cuban's comment that Ballmer would have been an idiot if he didn't throw additional money at Aspiration to try to keep them afloat in order to keep his cheating on the NBA salary cap and essentially money laundering from becoming public. Followed by the former employee and records that Torre obtained stating Ballmer did exactly that. Also on the other podcast Cuban took time to go on while ducking speaking to Torre, Cuban questioned all of Torre's reporting by imagining that that there were plenty of other investors putting money into Aspiration. But nope, only Ballmer and his Clippers partner were putting in money (and enabling Kawhi to get paid) right up until a Federal agency showed up at their HQ for an investigation and shut it all down. Also Cuban saying to Torre that you only have the side of partner A, who's now a convicted criminal. Partner B is the key and will have a different story, Cuban imagined. But Torre obtained texts/emails, and copies from partner B's deposition, that were all highly incriminating of both partner B and Ballmer in just an extremely stupid and hilarious manner.
  8. That’s a good example of the failure of imagination on the part of MAGA opposition and why Biden and Garland should be forever asterisked in the history books with β€œoh, by the way, they failed the republic”. it doesn’t matter if it’s legal. If you have power and you think it’s wrong you make it illegal. It’s the current playbook and we should have been using it to avoid this truly avoidable four years.
  9. North Crowley lost to Rockwall 37-35 last night.
  10. Final DFW Super Bowl this weekend. TCU is a bitch for cancelling it
  11. A vote for Kamala Harris was a vote to subjugate and consign young black men to imprisonment? I missed that in the party platform. I’m guessing it is a reference to her past as a prosecutor. Now do black women.
  12. We always figure we’re going to be doing a bunch of walking anyway so we always park in lot L. It’s super easy in and out. It’s on E Rd to Six Flags. It’s directly behind LF of the old temple. Depending on when you get there you might find shade. From there Texas Live is a decent pre game hang out. Beers, food, and 64475 TVs. The kids like the Baseballism store there. Mine is 9 and loves their stuff. Website has a way better selection but the boys nerd out in there. Once inside The big Fan Store is on that level in Centerfield. Everything is cashless. Even parking.

  14. I first saw them using that "Kick'em Stangs" chant back in 2015. While I understand it's something new, it's stupid and unnecessary.
  15. Same, though the plan has been to work a couple of years past that. If it gets worse, our fallback is to move to Spain.
  16. Google "racial disparity illegal weapons possession" and you'll basically find that all those keep my white kids safe in school laws are actually just used to put young black men in jail. Or put them in jail longer. If there isn't enough evidence to convict them of a real crime, you can always find a way to put them away for some kind of illegal weapons possession, because they aren't real people with real civil rights, and they are probably criminals anyways, amiright? These kinds of laws are enforced heavily against minorities, and way out of proportion with other criminal laws that are already enforced unequally. But I guess if you have one party that is openly racist, the other party is free to proclaim that they oppose racism while slyly systematically destroying the ability for those people to have a future that actually looks better.
  17. I used to choke in pressure situations, too, but then I became a man.
  18. Changing the variables can significantly alter the results. I have wondered if Arch took over last year, if he and Texas are not in a much better spot this year.
  19. You missed an opportunity to remind Shannon of how a fire drill is supposed to work. Thanks for your effort with the tailgate. Looking forward to it.
  20. I’m five episodes in and it definitely feels like the writing and the editing are better.
