Saw where the girl passed away earlier. The guy charged him with a damn pocket knife. That’s wild.
-
Same. Order placed but used the Surly code instead of the poll discount.
-
How was that an illegal order and how does it differ from the dozen or so vaccines currently required under the Trump administration?

Sort of disagree. I think this is the expected pace of this show, which will gradually set the stage for this bizarro dystopian world, and the viewer gets to contemplate the problem through Carol’s eyes. The story advances by revealing small bits of information about the conflict, rather than major action sequences. Last episode, we learned that they cannot lie and their condition is likely reversible. This episode, we learned that they are willing to withdraw for either emotional reasons or their own safety, and that they most likely consume the dead. I think that’s the expectation for the average episode. -

Tech barely lost to a very good ASU team and Tech was w/o their starting QB. They are at full strength now and have a nasty defense. They will be trouble in the CFP.

The only things people should use YouTube for are cat videos, cooking videos, and learning how to set the timing on a 392. -
I mean ... it really is just that simple.

So what has really changed? Case in point. So NOW he is going to take land if he does not get what he wants? Putin says US plan could be ‘basis’ of a Ukraine deal but threatens to take land by force if Kyiv doesn’t withdraw Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a US plan to end the war in Ukraine could “form the basis for future agreements” but renewed threats to seize more territory by force unless Kyiv withdraws. Speaking to reporters in Bishtek, in the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, Putin confirmed the Kremlin was expecting a US delegation headed by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to visit Moscow early next week, adding that the Kremlin was ready for “serious discussion”. But chances of a swift breakthrough appear slim after Putin repeated his maximalist demands, saying the war in Ukraine will only end “once Ukrainian troops withdraw from the territories they occupy.” https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/27/europe/putin-trump-ukraine-peace-intl

Not sure where you get your info, funds under management are pure speculation. Let's say it is 200B+. You ever heard of the Parable of the Talents? We are good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. Deal with it. The current president of the church was formerly the president of BYU and supports BYU, but BYU athletics are self-funded and supported by generous donors. No church funds are used for athletics. We run our athletics in the black, unlike many in the Big 10 and elsewhere. We have a number of billionaires (mostly quiet about it) and lots of multiple-hundreds-of-millions millionaires that generously give and support. You sound annoyed that BYU is ranked higher in both football and basketball than UT.

Stephen Miller is outed as a White Nationalist (shocking, isn't it?)

He looks like he's pushing 60. I think part of his inferiority complex is he was probably laughed at a lot when he was younger by other kids and girls. Instead of letting go of that stuff he held onto the hate and here he is now at the ripe old age of 40 looking like a villain in a Harry Potter movie. Could probably have also starred in that Nosferatu movie last year and wouldn't have needed any makeup to be a dead ringer. -
At least you know a bat flip won't get in his head.

I don't think this movie has that wide of a release and there has been very little in the way of advertising for it. I know it got the romcom label thrown on it, but it's really more of a movie about life and the choices we make. @austingirl if you are able to see this it'd be nice to know what your opinion is. It seems like a movie that you might perhaps enjoy. This is probably one of my top 3 or 4 favorite movies from 2025. -
I reposted @Brisketexan 's summary of Kasparov's comments from February 2023 for convenience. After reading those comments again, and remembering what I heard, I count that short time listening to Garry Kasparov speak as maybe the most enlightening hour of my not so young life. I felt that way at the time, and still do. The sad reality is we are almost 3 years down the road, and here we are. The former arsenal of democracy; now we have our hands extended, not to lift those that need a hand, but to pull them out of the way so we can make a few bucks off of what they have.

Guess I will have another SEC kid, Mizzou made her a great scholarship offer (kind of amazed because she filed test optional) and she is going to go ahead and move forward with it. It has been her first choice from the time she started looking. Going to be a pain for us with one in Athens and one in Columbia and us dead square in the middle, but we’ll make it work.

I don't like how Ant Hill is still listed as questionable. This season I don't think any players Sark listed as questionable ended up playing that week.

I know Fleet Foxes are a bit of a niche band, but goddamn this full concert is great. The drummer from The Walkmen was playing for them on this tour. Robin Pecknold's voice in top form here. Pitchfork productions always have great sound engineering/mix.
