I hope they pay Reed $5m to play there next year, and then he sues for 5 more years of eligibility to keep playing there.- 2026 Texas Coaching/ Support Staff Thread
So, Banks gets to stay?- Trump’s America
And yet somehow weren’t able to take the 2016 and 2024 elections. That would just be too obvious I guess. For real though, do they really think that everyone walks around thinking Trump is some amazing guy and how could anyone NOT like him? I can’t fathom their existence.- African Safari
I am more of a city guy when I travel--I'd much rather go to San Francisco than Yosemite or to Edinburgh than Cairngorns--but our African safari was one of my family's favorite trips. I'd put Kenya over Tanzania. It depends somewhat on what time of year you're going and where the wildebeest are on the Great Migration. But even so--I think we all preferred the Maasai Mara to Serengeti NP. But my preference for that may also have been from the property at which we stayed--the Angama Mara is one of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Zambia didn't have quite the wildlife variety on offer. But Victoria Falls way exceeded my expectations. For budgeting purposes, you should expect to spend $1,000 to $1,500 per person per day. That's generally going to cover all of your lodging, food, drinks, and wildlife fun. That is, however, exclusive of gratuities. That's a lot of coin. But at the same time, it's probably not outrageously greater than what you're going to spend in London or New York and doing the stuff you'd want to do in those cities. As I noted upthread, an African safari is unique in that it is something you almost always use a travel agent for. I booked most of the shit myself before I really figured that out. But there was one lodge we booked (and ended up really loving)--the Thorntree River Lodge in Zambia--that could only be booked through a travel agent. It's website wouldn't let you book directly. That's really weird, but there you have it.- Karen of the Year

Question- nobody in my family wants anything to do with my guns except for me and I don’t loan out NFA items. Is there any reason why I would want to set up a trust?- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
Gotta work on his jukes and stiff arm for those pick 6s.- Texas Roster 2026
- Trivial Things That Make You Surly
We just discovered that some damned crook actually called our credit Union earlier this week and changed some information like phone numbers and email. Mrs. Brat is trying to deal with this shit on the phone right now (I cannot hear those people well enough even on speaker to help). Goddamned crooks have us extremely stressed right now.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work

Good lord these people , gonna ride that train all the station on fumes and jizz- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
The new running backs coach is a reason a safety is going to stay?- For anyone thay wants more than a 4-team playoff
There are blowouts in the first round of the NFL playoffs every year and nobody whines about that. Those teams are supposed to win. That's why they get seeded against the shittier ones. That's their reward for earning a higher seed. Why does this need explaining?- Trump’s America
That would be like if I said "If it wasn't for all the fraud in Oklahoma, republicans would never win another election there again!". "But Red Five, how do you know that? Also, it's Oklahoma. They vote R there. A lot. What the fuck are you talking about?"- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
That guy does Micah Parsons sized contracts in the NFL. Surely this is being handled by one of his junior agents?- 2025-26 CFP General Discussion
No doubt. They are Grown ups in a process run by adults that know how to coach. And emphasize that hard work and a process a regular practices yield results. One of the greatest strengths of a HC is being able to manage his hand picked staff. Cig also has an innate ability to spot talent. Something he did well under Saban. Something he’s done in his short tenure so far as a HC both at JMU and at Indiana. What he’s doing is sustainable. It’s not exactly what TCU did but he’s building strength year over year in a division in flux. Hats off to him 🤠 🤘🏼 in one year he has beaten two HC’s that Sark still hasn’t been able to beat. With all the money and resources in the world. Truth. Cig isn’t trying to scheme the defense or the offense. He manages the entire team and entire staff. Thats a HC to me. I am not sure if the below list is accurate as far as HCs trying to be a coordinator also but it stands to reason that a HC should not be both a HC and a coordinator,- Trump’s America
Democrats have learned how to flawlessly steal elections but only choose to do it in CA. Brilliant, Phil!- 2026 Armed Forces Bowl - Rice vs. Texas State
- Parker Livingstone
There's never been a dude more destined to be the football coach at some west Texas or panhandle HS than this guy. He's also one of the very few players on the team that exceeded preseason expectations. He will do well somewhere, and if he develops he'll have a shot at the NFL.- 2026 New Year's Resolutions
There's a debate on the Surl somewhere over whether audible books count as reading or not. I love reading, and I would also like to read more, but I consume audible books like crack. They're just so convenient, I can pop it on as I get ready in the morning, during my drive to work, while I walk the dog etc etc... Just so convenient. The only time I can think of when I would choose kindle over audible is falling asleep at night. It's a hard nut to crack Also, drinking more???- Trivial Things That Make You Surly
Yep. I went to another dealer. Still a pain but got what I wanted- Trump’s America
It’s because everyone he talks to in Rancho Santa Fe, Ranch Bernardo, La Jolla, and the LIV tour voted for Trump. So there must be fraud if everyone he knows didn’t vote for Harris. - Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread
