  1. Past hour
  2. Amanda v. Kudermetova the Elder now.
  3. Yes, and not only nice coastal properties. S Dakota and such receive a lot of FEMA cash when they flood every year. If the states are now expected to care for their own, how? Where does that money come from? Are we going to see a reduction in obligations to the feds? FEMA is no way perfect, but it did what it was supposed to do. An issue was people expected magic. Fix my home overnight. Where is my check? I want it yesterday. Fun times. And just on a personal note. That is the third job focus I had that has been taken away! Makes me think I was doing the right thing all along.
  4. Now officially the largest measles outbreak in over 25 years
  5. This was the real "covid vaccines are tracking monitors" all along Projection
  6. Volynets quit. It’s fine, fuck playing your matches to completion.
  7. This will all be totally legal and totally cool. For those of you that really enjoy college sports get ready to see schools pay a grifter tax to stay on the good side of the president.
  8. Given Saban's stance on NIL, and the results of Campbell's; I'd posit that you couldn't get two folks further apart on the topic.
  9. The Elk is going for the long, slow slide to .500 football. It’s a drastic difference from his predecessor Jimbo, and more reminiscent of RC Slocum. Fran is in a class by himself for simply being dogshit his entire tenure.
  10. ⚾️ Immaculate Grid 768 9/9: Rarity: 36 IMMACULATE! 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩 Play at: https://immaculategrid.com/play
  11. Wearing a smart watch in 2025 makes you autistic.
  12. I do what I can. We both know ACL needs lots of help.
  13. And as usual, no ejection
  14. Or their diet consists wholly of chicken strips.
  15. I had a Ford Probe in college. Loved it.
  16. I see them more than my first car, a Ford Tempo. Those fuckers have been erased like when Disney+ gets rid of one of their shows. Never to be seen again.
  17. This. The 8:45 start allows me to have dinner done, the kitchen cleaned and my teenager out of my hair to concentrate on the cerealness of a Stanley Cup Playoff game!
  18. Juan might not think this is normal, but in an authoritarian state it is. Roughing up a teenage girl will be the least horrible thing someone does during one of these roundups over the next four years. Just wait until there are “accidental” shootings and killings during these arrests. That will also be part of the new normal in our authoritarian state.
  19. I never suggested otherwise.
  20. Funny. Apparently that stemmed from him riding an exercise bike and someone yelled a racial slur at him… I thought he was defending how he got in the ref’s face after his tech and said “THATS FUCKING BULLSHIT” 3 inches from his face
  21. He zinged ‘em in the top of the mornin’
  22. So you’d say that the thread titles on this site are deteriorating and getting worse? I bet there’s a thread to discuss this phenomenon; if only the thread titles made any sense. College professor perspective: I’ve changed most of my writing assignments to prioritize thoughtful student engagement with the materials. AI really likes to tell you about things, but so far, doesn’t do a great job of engaging with things in a meaningful way. There’s a difference between a student thoughtfully considering and struggling with new concepts and a machine telling me about everything that’s ever been written on the subject. On the surface, the AI version looks smarter, but it demonstrates no real analysis or human thought. It’s just a catalogue of ideas. Also, its tone sucks. I like to run important emails through AI just to make sure it hates my tone. I’ve have learned a new appreciation and respect for students who are bad writers, since they are likely not cheating and failing honestly. — For this thread, the iPhone keyboard is getting worse every year. I have more and more typos and it sometimes randomly inserts several words in place of one or two letters.
  23. The “art” of “the” deal
