this youtube channel is clearly a Ukr friendly channel, and tends to over-celebrate on events that occur that look like Russia has been punched in the nose... BUT if this story is correct, and Ukr sent their new cruise missiles directly into 5 HQ sites in Donetsk, they killed a lot of higher ranking Russians. Like Lt-Col or higher. its doubtful we will hear much from Russia on these attacks, it might be months before a story comes out that Col so-and-so along with 3 Komrades were killed in an explosion in Soviet err Russian Donetsk Oblast. But supposedly these HQ sites had been in place for years. - which again, is why you need to move your HQ's around when the battlefield has weapons capable of attacking inside 700km but hey Russia gonna Russia.

Why is the younger generation so intolerant?

This is almost never the case. It's just whiny ass snowflakes crying about having to hear opposing world views. -

I didn't take a lot of classes like that in the 2010s, because I was in CNS. But I took an American history class from the gilded age to Reagan and we read two books with different perspectives of American history and I found it quite insightful and I would have never read those two books without the class. Even in my ethics class, I didn't see any religious people whining or crying because of a specific ethical framework that may favor their beliefs would probably not work for everyone in a diverse society. In all of my schooling, I never felt like I was having someone's opinions pushed onto me. Even if they did, I'd like to believe being I have the critical thinking skills for an university student to take my own stance on it. -
See this surprises me a lot! I have worked with probably a dozen Stanford grads and all of them were excellent, but different field of course.

I see the boys from Penzoil are back behind the plate today.

OK, clarified it via the googles - they understood parachutes, they weren't afraid of jumping, they took the officer literally, and thought he meant jumping without parachutes - and five dudes still raised their hands. Maybe not true. Don't care. Still a cool story.

I wasn't aware of the sale and ate there in June with my wife. Obviously, nothing had changed then. I'll be there with SC in a few weeks, we'll report back. -
Can’t we all just get along? Why do y’all have to go for each other’s throats? What @Hate was probably remembering from his hazy halcyon days was TCU had what some considered the top recruiting class in 1985. Can’t find the rankings back then, but LA Times cited one mag as them having a top-3 class that year. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1985-02-14-sp-2544-story.html Everyone (except maybe Rice) was cheating back then. Wacker came in, cleaned up with that class, then found out the boosters had greased the palms of the players and self-reported. TCU proceeded to crater for the next 15 years, until GP (not giving Fran any credit) led them out of the wilderness they’d been in since the mid-60s.

I didn’t get past the part where she suggest that we have to obey “our Presidents laws”.

Yep. I haven’t been to Vegas in quite a while. That restaurant was run with the oversight of the old man in the way he set things up. I interacted with him a few times and you could just tell his fingerprints were on the culture of the place. I always assumed the son would take over (I never met him) and keep the traditions going. Little did I know he was a problem and not the future of the place. From reading the comments about it on the LasVegaslocally Twitter feed from earlier in the year, I’m not too optimistic on how this new ownership will do but we can only hope they don’t fuck it up. Someone should post their next experience here for the rest of us to get an update. -
Almost never. Texas was predominantly a horizontal team last year. Believe the highest rate of passes behind the LOS in the country last year and ton of wide zone. It made sense with a QB that struggled deep and intermediate (believe ~50% comp rate last year on intermediate balls). This year is much more of a vertical attack. Arch's strength is his legs and his deep ball. That said Texas is has thrown an average of 4 deep balls a game this year. They have completed 4 of the 8. Guessing the average per attempt is between 15-25 yards, so it has been a big success. That has been the best part of the offense to date, so hard to criticize that ara of the offense. Now they need to figure out something they can do efficiently to stay ahead of the chains. Tried more gap schemes in the run game. Saw Sark dabble with straight drop back short gamev sSJSU, we will se if that has legs.

They aren't anything fancy, but they have won awards for being the most on-time airline. I've yet to have a bad experience flying Aeromexico. There are similarities between them and the Southwest of yore.
