San Antonio Spurs 2025-26 - Release the Kraken

But it also looks to be. The way you beat a Wemby team is just shoot a billion 3s and get fouled driving to basket -
If you had flashed your dick, things might have turned out wayyyy different.

You playing against the greatest 1 of all time. You need all your guns. maybe vs teams like jazz or pelicans we don’t need Harper. but vs curry. Yes. Need -

Not only did WVU win, they did it with only 5 available players after their entire bench was ejected near the end of the first half. goddamn https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/46970698/west-virginia-upsets-no-15-duke-6-ejected-first-half

You can hear KD on the court mic celebrating when Reed decided to drive for the layup. Love it. -
It's the right approach. If they were to ever actually get good in volleyball I'd change my tune. It's not like I'm a Sooner fan in volleyball. They're like Darrell Royal's cockroaches.

I really thought the volleyball gods were going to tease me again. Stanford pulls it out in Palo Alto. Pitt and Kentucky are the two teams ahead of Texas heading into this week in terms of potential seeding (along with Nebraska). I don't really care where Texas gets seeded as long as it's the top 4.. It can make a difference being the #2 seed overall versus the #4 seed in terms of who you play in the regional final, but sometimes you get bad luck in that the lower seeded team ends up being better, a la Texas in 2023 when we faced Stanford who was the overall #2 seed. And then you're going to have to face that caliber of an opponent again in the next round. Pitt losing, even if it's to Stanford, who also has a very good resume but Texas beat head to head is terrific. The ACC is the best conference in the country, at least at the top. I think Pitt, Stanford, and Louisville all have Final Four potential regardless what bracket they're in. Including Nebraska's. And SMU isn't that far behind. They swept the Aggies earlier this year. I was a little surprised they lost to UNC in 5 sets, since I thought UNC was a bit of a mirage, but it turns out they're a pretty good team this year, too. Some other good teams sprinkled in there, too. Way better than the SEC, regardless of how the SEC/ACC challenge went.

Yeah, man, Taxis and Ride Sharing can be very unstable. I once took a taxi from the airport to my hotel in DFW, and the driver was speeding and driving recklessly while screaming in Arabic on his phone. At one point he pointed his phone at me where I saw that he was on FaceTime and some women in a burka giving me the look of death. I don't speak Arabic, but I assume the wife was accusing her husband of fucking around, and he had to show me panicking in the backseat of his taxi as some kind of proof of life. I would take a Waymo over that.

Understandable. My approach is simply to root against the Sooners in all sports. Including those in which Texas doesn't even field teams.

Sigh...You keep on bringing this up... But, how are you going to define your "community of interest"? Your household? Your street? Your neighborhood? Your suburb area? Your town/city? Your metro area? Your county? Your regional area in the state? Your state? Your regional area in the country? Your country? Your continent? ALL of those could be "communities of interest" If you want to define it at one of the the lowest levels (which is what it appears you want to do), then we can't do that with 435 US Representatives (or for TX, 150 Reps and 31 Senators). Because there are just too many "communities of interest" at those levels. BTW, people don't cooperate politically with "communities of interest". Most areas have people who care closely about lots of local issues, but disagree massively about wider issues. How do you propose reconciling those differences? BTW, by "most areas", I meant you could attach that definition to any one of those areas I listed above...even including the household... -
