  1. Past hour
  2. That's why I posted, had heard the same from others. Sucks 'cause Canard's were good people.
  3. Need to move the ball and open the floor up - especially in transition. Denver is content to keep you in the half-court game and attack when they turn you over. This could be a big 2H for Sheppard. Big KD dose could help, too.
  4. Swear to god, this was the first year that I realized Zak Brown isn't their team principal.
  5. I used the new company that bought Canard’s for my heating unit last winter, go elsewhere.
  6. We are a guard away from being a solid team, like a certain Houston kid that Stone took 2 other stiffs over.
  7. Yeah it seems a bit unbalanced, they aren't calling much on the Denver D, and yet the Rockets still have a lot more FTs than them. Sengun just doesn't get that much respect around the basket, but he acts like he's Luka. Big guys, for whatever reason, are expected to take a beating in the paint and not get calls, seems like a league-wide issue though.
  8. It’s not clear he did. Maybe the kid showed up on his own. Even so, normalcy and a healthy relationship can seem so tantalizingly close with a loved one battling addiction. No matter how many times they fail you, you think this might be the time it sticks. It’s gut wrenching how bad you want it for them. It makes a fool out of you again and again. Some people can shut the door forever, some can’t.
  9. His handles in transition are G League below average.
  10. People love to throw out the Golden example as proof that Sark's system is too complicated for new players, but has there been a report of a single other player having serious trouble learning the offense?
  11. Sonofabitch. RIP, Joe.
  12. Where was this earlier Phins?
  13. The Billionaires Have Gone Full Louis XV https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/14/opinion/billionaires-politics-money.html
  14. what could go wrong?
  15. Ewers, Mitchell, Mukuba, Golden, all incredibly important to our success in 23 and 24. Plenty of other starter-level role players as well.
  16. Y'all getting fucked by the refs. That's a shooting foul on Jok. Clear as day.
  17. I've read some stuff in the last day where it sounds like the Reiners carried a lot of guilt about the way they had handled their son's addiction and mental issues. They clearly had taken hard lines (with the support of professional opinions) in the past with tales of him living homeless across the country, etc so maybe they were trying a different, more inclusive/softer approach....it is strange though.
  18. lol, was that Jokic pass to himself off the rim on purpose?
  19. Worst part of that was the fucking portrait mode and the text covering up some of the action.
  20. I think it's obvious losing Sullivan off the staff hurts most at middle blocker. It's not just his acumen in developing the position. It's his advocacy in how the team should be run around the position. Sullivan helped make the position a priority. I will say while Ames is a very good middle blocker, she never exactly jumped out of the gym. I guess I was expecting someone who looked more like Andi Jackson. Singletary looked like what I think of when I envision a star middle blocker at Texas. Frankly, Harvey has that look athletically, but just looks lost as a college level middle blocker. Her lateral and vertical speed look off the charts, but her instincts don't appear to exist. Bunton looks like a very solid MB2. Better potential than Bergmark, who I was very satisfied with. My worst case scenario is that Ames transfers to A&M and Morrison develops her into a powerhouse. That would make it challenging to recruit against A&M for top middle blockers in the future. But I had a similar fear about Lexi Sun and Nebraska, and that worked out fine. Losing starters in Singletary and Ames in back to back years is not a good look regardless, and makes it challenging to compete for national championships. This team would have looked different with Singletary in the lineup, IMO. We'll see where she lands. I have no doubt wanting to win a national championship is what she's putting out there, but people say all kinds of things. Rumors that Wisconsin is a likely destination. I'm interested to see if she goes somewhere she can serve. Also, she's putting out there she wants to play more opposite. Not sure which national championship team is going to want her at that position, but what do I know? It's highly likely she (her agent, her club coach) was already contacted before she entered the portal, because that's how this stuff works a lot of the time.
  21. That TD should just about put out the lights for this one. Steelers looked good.
  22. Agreed, I don’t think she played to her fullest potential here. I also don’t think she would’ve been playing at Nebraska over Jackson/Allick based on her production here, but I could be wrong. I am hoping maybe JE already has someone in mind.
