  2. There was an awesome Mr. Gatti's at Jones Maltsberger and Thousand Oaks. Went to countless birthday parties there. Also another arcade called Larzland the next intersection over (Thousand Oaks and Henderson Pass). There's still a good liquor store there called Alamo City Liquors which probably has the best selection in SA after Spec's.

  4. Except for the part where he's Canadian. They're not letting non-Canadians in.

    Tennis Thread

I've never played on anything but a hardcourt. Playing on clay or grass would be incredible. And after my initial surge of play during my wife's maternity leave with our first, I've been out maybe twice in the last three years. I need to correct that.
  7. I doubt they were going to fork over the Biden money for anything whether or not the weirdos spouted off in the council meetings.
  8. I do think this shows that we are willing to spend when we have an absolute need and the likelihood of early college success is high. For RB maybe we will wait to see what we have and for OL, the cost wasn’t worth the risk for our tackle option.
  9. @Derka why don’t you answer this simple question, what SHOULD Arsenal have done? Then compare that to what they did do and tell us all who’s gross.
  10. This for sure.
  11. I’ve jumpseated on 787’s. There’s no reason to have a hand anywhere near those things, and the basic design is the same as those used on numerous airframes Boeing and Airbus. The switch has to physically be pulled up and then over a detent before being retracted with a spring like mechanism into its new position. It’s pretty fool proof, and would be interesting for this to suddenly raise its head after the airframe has been flying countless hours over 14 years. Also, two defective switches going into the same plane and failing at the same time is kinda stretching things possibility wise.
  12. If you were gonna do pilot suicide seems like an unlikely way to do it. Feels more like a mistake or what that video says.
  13. Which is why the cushion is so important until we get people back.
  14. Yep. The AAA gods are making a margin call.
  15. "He wasn't there for healthcare purposes, he was just trying to escape from being kidnapped!" is an argument, I guess...
  16. Whether the criticism is “more strident” or not, do you disagree that the criticism is warranted? Because bitching about who gets criticized more loudly is an irrelevant distraction. But “irrelevant distraction” pretty much sums up your contributions on this board.
  17. for those who don’t know, baylor, the school already famous for its intra-team murder scandal, went out and recruited players who they knew had already raped coeds at their previous school, unleashed their team into the BU campus where the football players were sexually assaulting and raping co-eds on a regular basis, then blamed the victims, made the victims continue to go to class with their own rapists, then kicked the rape victims out of school after their grades dropped due to trauma, then tried to cover up the literal culture of rape which permeated their program, all while employing people like art briles and kim mulkey. comparing that ^^^ to the thomas partey situation is disgusting. actually fucking disgusting. you are gross.
  18. Our luck with this makeshift lineup is running out.
  19. Gotdam, Cam! ( love the year he has had, but dam what a tough 10 minutes in live time!)
  20. Ignored rape in favor of sports vs covered up rape in favor of sports. They aren’t that far apart. Maybe in your example Arsenal are the good Germans. Maybe I shouldn’t be taken seriously on it. That’s not for me to say. But I’m also not the person making excuse after excuse for why a rapist continued to play a prominent role at my club.
