  1. Past hour
  2. Bolded isn't really a thing any more, at least not according to my son. Or maybe he's just so awesome / cool no one messed with him. But yeah, the oversight is "other level", but my son appreciates that kind of thing.
  3. This is actually pretty true.
  4. I think more or less, you hit the nail on the head.
  5. Jung sent that dude back to AAA, dayum!
  6. "Logjam" seems more like an exaggeration to me each passing week. If Mitch and Wright are convinced it can work, then I'm going to let Mitch try to figure it out. Castle played 26 mpg last year. I think we can find Harper 24-26 mpg too.
  7. We have a girl on a prior soccer club that committed to WP. Her dad is a federal agent for the postal service so there's a history of service there. She's a good player. VERY quiet, but I assume they'll pull that out of her. It's hard to argue that a military academy degree isn't among the best in the country. The curriculum is second to none, all STEM based, and taught in an environment of discipline and purpose. It's hard enough to be a student athlete, but the upperclassman hazing and oversight adds another dimension. We had a friend of my son's commit to play football at Navy, and he didn't last a year. It's just not for everyone.
  8. He should run for Prez with Hillary as his VP nominee.
  9. Well, I don’t want to turn this into yet another MB hate thread so I will just add this and move on. Mack never, ever, coached the team to putting the foot on the throat of opponents. I almost never felt confident a team was done because once we had the momentum or lead, it seemed to always swing. I think that stems from a truth in what MB said way too often that permeated the players, fear. VY was a force, without fear, as was Colt and their leadership propelled the rest of the team despite our HC shitting his pants on the reg. Now back to PSU, I think there a similar problems at the HC with even worse results. Howard has clearly overcome his issues and they are stacked. Texas is stacked but I firmly believe part of the issue last year was faith in the offense and particularly the QB from the rest of the team. I don't want to rehash that topic and instead will turn to this year. Arch will provide the sort of faith that VY and Colt inspired on their teams. Further, I think Arch's abilities will let Sark finally go full Sark offensively. It's going to take a minute for our OL to fully gel, but I think our D might actually be better this year which, I know, is a crazy prediction. I have a pretty crazy prediction for this year which is we beat OSU, lose to Florida, obliterate ou sux, struggle against UK then we start hitting on all cylinders and wreck everyone left on the schedule, including Georgia. It's going to be a very tough year for aggie and pig. Will it be enough to win it all... we shall see, but I do a room reservation in Miami.
  10. Apropos of nothing, but are you same SL Xpress I see posting on SECrant? And if so, why the fuck do you even bother? That place is an absolute toilet bowl that makes TexAgs look thoughtful and well informed.
  11. You know, it's amazing Peterman hasn't fired that dolt.
  12. I thought Aaliyah Moore was redshirting this season, but she isn’t even on the roster. I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt she’ll be suiting up for during the 2026-2027 season
  13. I totally get that you and I are on the same page with regards to the number. Even if its one tenth the quoted, that's a lot of people who can make life harder on the frontline by stealing/criming behind the lines. I don't want to see innocent Uke's in occupied territories get harmed any more than they already are, but man, more power to the deserters. I know that's where I'd be if I were them. Stay on the line and inevitably die, or have a shot at survival by being a modern day highwayman? I'll take that second option.
  14. So Trump’s on the roof huh. Just one normal fucking day. All I ask at this point.
  15. y'all really still just flip around channel surfing huh?
  16. His fat ass would cause at least $100k in damages to the shrubbery and pavement underneath. With the dotard mark-up, that would wind up costing taxpayers at least $5MM.
  17. A better approach for CA is to lump all of the existing republican representatives into a single fucked up looking congressional district. Make them fight for the 1 red seat thunderdome style. You also reduce the chance of an incumbent republican going against a new democrat even though it might be a 10+ dem district.

  20. On the subject of Texas Dems, I like the effort from the 51 who have fled the state but I've seen this movie before so I'm not going to give any of them any credit until the special session is over. Anything less than an effective opposition is purely performative. In other words, the jury's still out whether we've got fighters or "more of the same" (folders).
  21. I hope his health outcome is good, but “genuinely good guy”? Not based on some of the things I read, particularly how he treated the players on the team when he arrived, his throwing players that HE brought in under the bus at various times, etc. He’s good at giving the “what a great person I am” press conferences and statements at times. I don’t buy it. Still doesn’t mean I hope he dies or anything remotely close to that.
  22. 5K could wreak havoc. Ukraine could offer them amnesty after the war, etc, and some could become a fifth column. I mean, they are dead men walking if they remain in Russia or surrender.
  23. It took me approximately 5 seconds to look up how much farmland exists in the United States: 900 million acres (2017 ag census). This dingbat is whining about 300,000 acres, or 0.033% of that land. I eagerly await next week's manufactured controversy.
