I was waiting for you to post it. Yes, a former volunteer got in trouble in his own home, but it's probably our former pastor's fault. Child porn is horrendous. If he's guilty, I hope they punish him harshly. -
LOL, what a fuckin mess. App State got the Birmingham Bowl spot and it’ll be a Sunbelt rematch of a conference game vs Ga Southern who beat App State 25-23 a month ago.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs
David Dennison replied to Wulaw Horn's topic in Football
I'm shocked anyone believed a 9-3 Texas team was ever getting in the playoff. -
It's a joke but it's politically correct. Everyone except me is pretending that the ACC kept us out of the college football playoff, because they lobbied for a total of one team in the playoff. Isn't that their job? We were actually kept out of the playoffs by SEC #5. The SEC has so much power in the media that, l no one is questioning whether the $EC deserved its 5th best team in the top 12. You have a good conference but it is not so good that number five is head and shoulders above anyone else. And the helmet cancels any question about whether Alabama really was the 5th best team. Could Texas beat Auburn by more than one touchdown? Well, just because they did not call this targeting does not mean there were no concussive effects.

Update: My MIL texted THE ENTIRE FAMILY yesterday morning to send a video of the two dogs licking each other with the comment that her dog would make the best mom! I have no idea why she thought I would want to see this insane bullshit. My oldest son "liked" the movie after nobody responded for four hours and I told him if he did anything like that ever again I would take his phone away.

We got a robot vacuum/mop during Black Friday week. It's a MASSIVE upgrade in terms of me not having to vacuum and using a vacuum wet mop. This thing also has cameras and sensors, so it's actually navigating between chair legs instead of randomly bumping around and getting stuck under the dining table. I have it programmed to clean the entire downstairs 2x a week, and mopping the kitchen another 2 days during the week. -

It’s hard to say, the committee obviously just wings it and makes shit up as they go. Even if we were getting more credit for our schedule and had been in the mix for the 10 spot, after the way everything shook out I think they would have left us out because we would likely have 3 rematches to reach the finals. I am surprised they went with the OU/Bama rematch instead of shuffling to get Bama/Aggie, OU/Miami. -

Good versus Great is one of the issues we lost. Good teams win most of the games they're expected to win, and even win occasionally some they're expected to lose. Great teams win all the ones expected and most of the games when they're underdogs. We were barely "Good", let alone "Great". Too many conference mates in the tournament. Hell, it wound up with FIVE teams from the SEC, and that's already one more than most want to see. I hoped for two things that coulda woulda shoulda put us in - maybe only needed one, but with both, defnitely in. Those were 1) Bama gets blown out and drops out, and 2) Ole Miss gets FSU'ed for losing half their coaching staff. The first one partly fulfilled, but Bama Mulligan reared its ugly head, soooo... bring on the Weasels. Note to HC: maybe don't finish in 5th or 6th place in conference, next time. -

He is definitely an aggy. First the lie then the stupidity of not taking it. The jokes write themselves

Definitely seemed clear from Day 1 of his freshman year that he was going to be an early draft pick. Best Horns LB I've seen in person since Derrick Johnson. He was what I was hoping Jordan Hicks and Malik Jefferson would be. They were good, maybe great from time to time, but Ant Hill was just on another level entirely.

45 - 2: Janis Joplin "Me & Bobby McGee" and Johnny Cash "A Boy Named Sue" LP: Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison Cassette: Billy Joel - The Stranger CD: Roger Waters - Radio KAOS (actually the first one I ever bought was 10cc - Greatest Hits 1972-78, didn't even have a CD player, just knew I would some day so I carried it from apartment to apartment until I got one, when I bought the Roger Waters CD (and Def Leppard - Hysteria), I also got my first CD player, put it on my Sears credit card, only $300+) download: no idea, but 99% sure it was some Beatles bootleg outtakes

The only thing that ND has a right to be pissed off at is that the committee jerked them off for weeks making them think they were safe, and then pulled the rug out from under them at the last minute. I think it's fucking hilarious, but if it were me I'd be pissed. Other than that, their resume is trash. Would the other conferences even be receptive to that? My hope is that they wouldn't, but money is money. What is the difference in $$ for a team that regularly sells out its stadium in playing ND vs. a home/home with NC State or Stanford, to use your hypothetical?

I could care less homie. Hope he makes it just don’t think he will. Thank god he’s rich already for his sake

Historically speaking I’d prefer we find some different options. I’m not yet ready to face either of those teams again…

Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Full Roster Weaponization
closetojumping replied to closetojumping's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
Baker had to throw a shit fit to get a better allocation, also. Thinking about DT, specifically, there is a case to be made that the ground has simply shifted into new terrain from here forward. Outside of the truly special guys, most HS recruits aren't ready for significant rotational snaps until they are in year 2, and arguably year 3. Investing in HS recruits, like OL, winds up being a long term, low reward play. Unlike OL, DTs can be prima donnas and they expect to be playing from day 1, see Mitchell, Sydir, without putting in the work. They're more likely to transfer just as the investment from the program starts to pay off, see Kanu, Hero. Focusing the majority of the positional NIL spend on seasoned DTs in the portal, especially if they have multiple years left of eligibility, looks like a moneyball play. I don't have a problem if Texas banks on landing 1-2 DTs from the portal every cycle, one expected to play immediately and one who probably can, but who also has multiple years left. -

We had our office party last Friday. The office manager asked me how much booze to get for 65 adults. I figured 2.5 drinks per person, so 12 bottles of wine and maybe 6 cases of beer/seltzers. She ended up getting 18 bottles of wine, 10 cases of beer and a few bottles of whisky. There were only about 25 people... So unfortunately I'll have to take a case or 2 home with me. Merry Christmas.
