  1. Past hour
  2. Speaking of transfer WRs, Scudero with SJSU currently leading FBS. 10 Rec 180 yds and 4TD in loss to Wyoming yesterday. can we get him in the motherfucker? https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/5152815/danny-scudero
  3. Going forward we gotta play guys who are dinged up, can't just sit a guy because of soreness or a slight injury. All men on deck to save the season. Unless the slight injury is directly affecting their play*
  4. Kirk Bohls: How the Texas Longhorns saved their season with win over OU. 'We learned how to fight' Sam Khan Jr.: Arch Manning and Texas grew up in the Cotton Bowl — and might have saved their season Evan Vieth: Quintrevion Wisner, Texas Offensive Line Power Second-Half Comeback vs. Oklahoma Chris Vannini: After another loss to Texas, Oklahoma and Brent Venables’ troubles could just be beginning
  5. Arch impressed me in the second half. First time I have seen him consistently be on target. I shouldn't rule out the possibility the receivers were also doing a better job getting open.
  6. Wisner played his best game as a Longhorn. I have never seen him run that physical.
  7. Just on the Sooner podcast linked earlier.
  8. I will take errors from a freshman that absolutely got better as game progressed vs Stroh’s sorry ass on roller skates all day. I was thrilled when I saw that change had been made
  9. Go read the early pages of this thread. I even quoted one of them.
  10. Certainly not a Defensive Genius, and apparently only an Offensive Genius early? Funny how all the talk of Kinne getting poached stops in October.
  11. Is that assuming Sark maintains credibility with the guys needed to make bidding for transfers happen? Tanking a number one preseason ranking, after probably telling everyone you don't need offensive lineman, might make some people clutch their wallets tighter.
  12. It's too early to tell, but Arch is showing signs of being a gamer. Ewers always started fast and then cooled off as the defense made adjustments. Arch has gotten better as the game goes on.
  13. I think the answer is for the last three years is that Texas was almost dead last in the entire FBS in red zone scoring. With at least 3 different QBs. Arch will continue to improve. I submit he would be further along this season had we had typical practices starting in the spring and not changed the entire offseason practice model to light no contact practices (NFL Prostyle.) or how we came off flat, disjointed and discombobulated off a bye week to play a weak Florida team helmed by Slingblade. That’s on Sark. You act like we didn’t already make it extremely difficult on ourselves to sniff the playoffs before the season started. Winning out would be amazing but I just have to look forward one game at a time. You should too. We already have two losses. One loss was an offensive failure and Arch played poorly. The loss to Florida was a team failure and Arch was actually one of the bright spots. He’s a mobile QB who would have benefitted from heavy 140 play practices with contact in the offseason. He’s trying to put the pieces together. he does need to get rid of the ball faster and I am sure that’s a focus of how the staff works with him in practice. Or I hope it is. And most of us see the type of improvement in him that bodes well for us if we want to win out. Putting in Caldwell won’t change anything. Or make it better or did you not see we have been nearly dead last in red zone scoring the last three years in the entire FBS?
  14. Recruits have been going. I think the posters here have been a bit disengaged this season
  15. Number of times OU reached the RED ZONE: 0.0
  16. I wonder if he purchased the bath salts with his Fox amex
  17. On non-pressured pass attempts arch completed 80%. That was the difference in results between he and Mateer, who did what Arch did when Florida had him running for his life: lob prayers or get beat up
  18. Wasn't the same sentiment against a 1-3 Florida team?
  19. Banks needs gone. Niblett has vastly improved (even before the RRS) since the start of the season.
  20. Im back riding shotgun, bitches
  21. Less reads, less slower developing down field targets. Herbie mentioned it later in game. This looks more like colts offense. We took points inside the 5 should tell us all we need to know. Sark knows we are limited offensively, the fg take was telling. He just needed to shit the bed in Gainesville to understand it. we will be more ball control, outside zone, we used the hell out of TE yesterday. We’ll take shot down field situationally vs dictating terms.
  22. Played Memorial in Houston. Great course and being a Houstonian, amazing value. If anyone has tips on how to get tee times, tech thy ways.
