I look forward to watching Caldwell hit a higher percentage of slants, digs, and posts while opening up the middle of the field in our passing game.

I’ll join your letter writing campaign (is it still writing if you’re cutting letters out of magazines and newspapers and gluing them to a piece of paper that you photocopy?)

Echoing this, that was my conclusion, too, after shopping around on an investment property we own in Houston. As long as they are cheaper I don’t really care what they do with their profits. That said, (and I brought this up to our CM) the energy rebate program kind of sucks in practice (it’s cumbersome, which rewards big firms that have staff to submit as an approved vendor with the city and punishes small businessmen, lots of them Hispanic, who can do the work cheaper, faster, and with a reputation for higher quality labor). Plus, it’s out of step with the purported values the city likes to advertise about itself.

Everything is Shit: Tracking the Great Enshittening

The problem is this: the only people trying to build sexbots are also the people who want to fuck robots. But anyone with enough brainpower to design a good sexbot has better intimate options beyond “circuitboard.” I see no way out of this gap between ambition and ability. -

Lord Huron was fantastic in Houston last night. My third time to see them in the past 18 months and those dudes show up and don’t nail in anything. Lots of thought and creativity in every song/performance/visual. Loved the live version of Ends of the Earth. Kevin Morby (who i wasn’t familiar with before he was named the opener) was incredibly meh.

Unfortunately he has escaped gamer circle containment and does the right wing politics grift thing now.

First off, does the Price / kwh factor in fees? Austin has a ton. Second off, Houston is not a monopoly. I can't speak for Dallas, but when I lived in Houston, we had the choice in power provider, so you can actually shop around. Austin, on the other hand, has no choices, if you're in Austin or a large swath of Travis County, you're forced to use them and pay their fees that are back-filling the general fund of the City of Austin. If you're "donating" this amount of money back to the general fund, it makes you wonder what kind of overcharging they're doing. https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/why-does-austin-energy-transfer-millions-back-to-the-citys-general-budget/

Simmer down. Stop taking things so seriously. And you didn't even answer the football related question. Nice job.

I don't think many in the coaching ranks will perceive OU to be any better than Ole Miss these days, bc neither has top-tier, in-state talent. That advantage belongs to both LSU and Florida. Doesn't Ole Miss have enough BMDs to match any offer for Kiffin? I mean, they've been killing it in the portal, so their NIL program must be formidable. If Freshwater leaves, it won't necessarily be about the money. Or maybe I've overestimated the Ole Miss bankroll.

If you're going to offer rebates, how about NOT fleecing the customers to finance them?! Cheaper than Houston or Dallas https://quickelectricity.com/texas-electricity-rates-per-kwh-by-city/ Whats your deal?
-
OU might be an upgrade over Ole Miss, but that’s debatable and not much of one, best case. OU tends to be pretty savvy when hiring coaches, however, so I’d expect they look for someone like Kalen Deboer coming off two seasons at Fresno State, I.e., just enough experience but looking for fresh talent. Plus, that’s cheaper.

Wow what a bold opinion

They both have losing records this season, so I can see Baylor fans being "meh" about either. But overall Traylor has a pretty good track record at UTSA, and I think he'd do well at Baylor.
-
Well, unless he's stacked the BOR of the UC System with hand picked bootlickers, or at least independent folks, who have in turn appointed bootlickers to the UCLA administration, he rightfully doesn't have much to do with it. This is where the earlier post about Newsom withholding state funding starts to gain a little traction.
