BOOM MOTHER FUCKER - Will Muschamp's Triumphant Return

We had one. Mack simply pushed GG to the front of the line for optics. -
Jesus... you know you've been on this board, and it's former aliases, WAY too long when you see this and laugh, but can't remember the details of that story. God... it's been like 10-15 years hasn't it?

Peacock. And they kinda did with "Poker Face".

Not sure I believe this.

Well light your cigarettes boys haha. HC making $11 mill a year needs a DC he doesn’t have to be the boss of in order to be successful. Now he can commit to just coaching one side of the ball like…checks notes…an OC would do. Holy. Fucking. Shit. -
There was some initial "This was a mutual decision" from the 9.95s yesterday. This is looking less and less like a mutual decision.

Thanks for the recommendations, guys. We have a lot of people coming over between Christmas and New Year's, and I added to our considerable stock of games with three from the above--Ransome Notes, Coyote game, and Exploding Kittens.

I think, one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Can relate to this quite a bit. As I've mentioned on other threads, I WFH in Colorado while my company is still in Florida. Travel a couple times a quarter for meetings/etc. I LOVE WFH, especially with a child in kindergarten, the flexibility is priceless. But I'd be lying if I said that even though I don't miss the commute, morning prep, etc., I do miss the people I work with and being in and around the office and the chatter. I'm fortunate enough to have a really great team that we truly enjoy spending time together. For example, our leadership team just visited the Philippines for a week to meet some of our remote staff that live out there. There's an undeniable intangible benefit to working across the desk from someone rather than just a face on the Teams call. I'd go back to in office for $240 vs WFH for $120. Now... if the WFH was $160k+, easily choose WFH.

Yes, it certainly is..I see how that is confusing, was just using the gif to ensure my reference was understood.

Yeah I don’t think it’s about DEI, which has become sort of an HR catch-all term. I think the basic thesis is that individual *millennial* white males (again, not GenX, not Boomers) were at a disadvantage without any real population level benefit to disenfranchised or marginalized people or change to the power structure. That’s hard to disagree with from where I sit, and I can think of some pretty egregious examples. The funny thing is that at least based on what I saw during the period, it was a lot like affirmative action at elite universities. At the individual level the people who benefited most were already quite privileged: usually affluent, well connected top university grads who were themselves the children of top university graduates. Indeed, I think he’s writing what he knows about. Plus media loves to talk about itself.

Ok--and as someone who is another quarter Luxembourger (no shit--my maternal grandfather's four grandparents all emigrated together from Luxembourg in the mid-19th Century) . . . fuck you! Luxembourg doesn't have just a whole lot in common with those Dutch herring-eaters. Now if you want to combine those three countries into a Greater Luxembourg with its capital at Luxembourg--a "Grousslëbuergesche Räich," if you will--perhaps we can talk about that.

He’s never gonna give it up. The sooner everyone just gets over it, the less miserable you would (theoretically) be -
when I was a young man, I operated heavy equipment for a few years. The outfit I worked for had a cat front-end loader, a 966. It had one brake that had failed and there was no time to repair it, so the air line was capped and the machine continued to be operated with 3 working brakes. Eventually, it was repaired. I was the first to operate it after the repair. At the end of the day, the owner of the company asked me how the brakes were working. I replied "33% better than they worked yesterday". He's like "WTF??? You mean 25% better!" The argument lasted several minutes, and he was convinced that he was correct.
