  2. obviously he has had a very rough week.
  3. I see that NVIDIA has pumped $5B into Intel to help keep them afloat. I'm reminded how Microsoft effectively kept Apple alive and independent in the 90s when they were struggling. You have to wonder if Intel can use this and the govt charity to turn into a powerhouse again on a long time frame. Obviously others feel so since INTC is up 25% today.
  4. That's why I included the endorsement of the director of an Ivy League cancer center. Here’s his cv if interested. https://legorreta.brown.edu/about-us/our-director You can go with him or someone named Willfully Horn that seriously believes 37% of infections lead to long Covid.
  5. religious indoctrination is child abuse
  6. eat your cake and have it to ....ted k
  7. Truly, this stands alone. Every MAGA and Charlie Kirk fanboy was waving this flag around as vigorously as possible. We've heard "FREE SPEECH!" shouted from the rooftops by them for a decade or more now. And while many of us disagreed with their misuse of the concept, we repeatedly explained that free speech rights were against government action. And the government using its enforcement power or coercive force (as opposed to a gov't official simply stating his disagreement with something, or even asking an outlet to share a message in the public interest) is the line that shouldn't be crossed. And now, every one of those FREE SPEECH warriors is fine with, calling for, and celebrating the EXACT thing they said they stood against. FFS, the chair of the FCC publicly wrote the exact opposite position of the one he's taking right now. How about y'all be ACTUAL patriots, and stand up for this country, freedom, and the constitution? Just give it a try, you might find it refreshing.
  8. Clark looks like he has some nice cutting ability and quickness. The issue is he cuts to nowhere. I get Simon is a true freshman, but he looked like the best runner on the team (albeit in a very small sample size). Shows good vision and I love how every run he seems to be falling forward at the end. When I say get him ready, that means drill him on pass pro. Just do not know how he was 5th on the depth chart, but perhaps it is just a small sample size.
  9. This is the kind of stuff Arch thinks he can pull off
  10. regardless if someone likes Kimmel or not, or they completely disagree with what he says, any American should be concern when a President shuts down a critic because of what he says. But many won't because they're happy with this outcome. I don't think that I will struggle much to boycott ABC, ESPN and Disney. I don't believe they get any of my money even indirectly through other subscriptions.
  11. Lol imagine being so unimportant to everyone in your life that you run to a message board trying to get negged so you can feel like somebody finally paid attention to you. Hahaha.
  12. Nothing more trustworthy than an anti-science person posting an unsourced explainer, gotta say
  13. @closetojumping could beat Shadeur Sanders in a foot race. There is nothing similar between Jackson and Sanders concerning their styles of play.
  14. There are a lot of kids who are book smart but not socially mature or good with decision making. They lack "street smarts" since they are so online. Covid screwed up a lot of kids and set them back even further. Then they stay online all the time and makes them even more socially immature.
  15. What’s the illegal hotel chain?
  16. He is a true freshman that is only playing because Wisner and Baxter are hurt. I do agree though he needs to be the primary back against Sam Houston. Clark seems to have no explosion and Gibson is untrustworthy due his fumbling.
  17. Watching Constantine’s Wednesday economic report, he reminded me of of a different aspect of people taking all their money out. When the Russian people know they are about to be fucked by the government, they try to take out as many rubles as possible, and buy euros and American dollars. They know there is a real possibility that rubles will be massively devalued, and you don’t want to be left with rubles in the bank. One, they might create some rule that just takes your money or limits the amount of money you can withdraw. Second, the bank might fail, or if not fail, may simply suspend banking until such time as the central bank gives it more money. Either way the customer has no access to the rubles. Constantine was contacted by cold call salespeople who thought he still lived in Russia - both a Lada salesman and a real estate agent in Moscow who were desperate to make a sale, offering up to 50% discount on the Lada, and a condo with payments not due until late 2026, with assistance reducing the interest rate of the mortgage if he chose to borrow. One admitted that everyone was going bankrupt and out of business and nobody was buying anything - so now was the time to get the great discounts. TL;DR - The great Special Operation enshittening is finally affecting every aspect of Russian economic life
  18. Your question didn't seem bitchy at alI. I had seen the preview, did not read the book, and figured I wasn't going to like the film but gave it a shot just because I went along with a group and it wasn't my choice. Other opinions...I thought the acting was generally good and certainly the film has excellent production value. Cooper seemed like a natural. I thought the actor who played Charlie was likable but there were times when he wasn't a natural fit- to me, he seemed too polished for the role he was playing and came across more as an actor than a character, if that makes sense.
  19. So only week 1 we get tues/weds/thurs?
  20. the tariff analysis i saw was that the US companies were bearing 2/3rds of the increase, the foreign manufacturer 1/6 and the consumer 1/6 (i.e., inflation).
  21. Holy shit there is that weird throwing motion on crossing routes that we all have been bitching about and he is under no pressure. Every tape I ever bought my son on QB mechanics said your toe had to be in the direction you planned to throw and you had to step into the throw. His feet are wide open and the throw is all arm without any need. He is actually falling back, instead of stepping into the throw and these guys thought this would be good tape to advertise with? At the end the ball is right on the receiver instead of leading the receiver. They teach the falling back throw with feet wide open, maybe it was not AJ Milwee as I suspected.
