I didn't need another reason to never go to Walmart, but I'll go ahead and add this to the list.

Moore is also a good blocker and besides being a little faster is a little quicker and has better acceleration. Still, I see round 4 for him.
-
I %100 know what you're talking about.

Sigh. People take this stuff too seriously. I like Shane Gillis but the idea that it’s not ok to think he sucks is asinine. He is about the most acquired taste I can think of for a comedian that isn’t Kaufman or Fielder because his delivery is completely unlike any comedian I’ve ever seen. There is an amateur hour, uncertain nature about it. I see how it turns people off. I’m down with it because I just find it disarming. But I understand how others find it stilted and amateurish. Tom Segura still makes me laugh even though he seems utterly unlikable and smug so I still tune in. And that’s ok. None of these guys hold a candle to Jeselnik (ducking).

All right, just hear me out. I have what is likely a stupid idea, but this is Surly. I wonder if Kruel is closer to his physical potential than most HS recruits. Meaning not much ceiling for his currently intended position. But what if we could convert him into a short yardage specialist? He’s got the size and coordination. Maybe it’s just the red-zone-PTSD talking. -
And Whitt is an exceptional blocker at the WR position. Moore is faster, but I don’t think he was better in any other category last season.

Dem Strategeries For Mass Cult Reprogramming

No, white women and white men are the largest voting blocs and both go Republican. Dems have no message for them. Not having a message for them is wage fraud by whoever is in control. -

Spoilered below is the Sooners Illustrated preview of CBs. Highlights: -They expect Gentry Williams back and as a starter. He's coming off of two seasons with major shoulder issues and, I think, he missed the spring as well. I feel like he's kind of a white stag for them - rarely seen and mostly out of reach, but much desired. -Is Eli Bowen going to be a true stud at CB? He did fine as a freshman. He graded out really well at PFF, but I do have to remind myself that their grades in the secondary are the worst that they provide. I'm assuming it's a tape issue. But was this guy just the tallest midget for a bad CB room? Or was he good and headed towards great? -Jacobe Johnson is talked about the way Texas fans and moderators have talked about highly ranked but rarely seen players over the years. They're still waiting for him to breakout. Good luck with that. -They're talking up Courtland Guillory as though he's a wizard. It's just not a good sign if you're constantly starting true freshmen at CB. -The Safety that Venables took to Media Days is about as articulate and competent-sounding as R Mason Thomas. To the surprise of no one, they sound like a team loaded with true dumbfucks. Or maybe he's an immigrant and English isn't his first language or something. -

explosion at L.A. Sheriff's facility. At least 3 cops dead
Armybrat replied to Gil Bang's topic in Daily Texan
The two Japanese grenades my Dad brought back from the 1943 Alaska Aleutian Campaign were deactivated without any explosive materials. They were pretty cool paperweights, but I gave them to my neighbor - a BATFE explosives expert - for his collection. -

I think Aranda will incorporate them like henchmen. Imagine the intimidating visual of Aranda standing on the sideline with that dead-eyed vacancy in his soul while he's surrounded by a dozen smirking dwarves.

Spoilered below is the Sooners Illustrated preview of the LBs/Cheetah (kind of a NB, but also a DPR). Highlights: -They lament the loss of Danny Stutsman. It's heresy to say, but I think that guy was more harm than asset. Sure he made a lot of tackles, but that's a byproduct of the defense being designed to funnel plays to the second level. He was always tackling guys 8 yards downfield. -Kobe McKenzie is average as grits. I'm glad Texas didn't land him, given the talent accumulated now at LB. He played a lot last year and did very little. -One of my picks for surprise standouts for next year is Omosigho. They've now committed him to a position and I think he'll win the most PT. When I watched them last year, I felt like he was impacting plays during limited snaps. -Getting Kendal Daniels has been kind of downplayed by all of the okies, I guess because he went to OSU first? I think it is a huge pickup and expect him to win the lion's share of snaps at Cheetah, playing the Big Cheetah version. -This could potentially be a team strength unless they're committed to starting McKenzie and Dolby. -I feel like Kip Lewis was a non-entity all year in 2024 except when some dark voodoo shit performed on the OU sidelines called for the "Defensive Touchdown Play" in desperate moments. -

To this day I remain gobsmacked by how many Americans don't realize that normal Presidential terms runs exactly 4 years from January 20th (21st if the 20th is a Sunday) in an odd year. It's an ODD YEAR you fucking idiots. -
Rain probably hurt the race more than helped as the medium/hard tire differential could have made for some interesting strategy calls.

explosion at L.A. Sheriff's facility. At least 3 cops dead
Herbie Hancock replied to Gil Bang's topic in Daily Texan
I’ve been on 3 grenade callouts. Each time it was wife/relative going through grandpa’s shit after he died. All 3 had been disarmed many years ago, with one being used as a paperweight on peepaw’s desk. We blew all 3 in place. Bomb tech didn’t even attempt to disarm them, and obviously if he had it would have been clear they were duds. No reason to put anyone in that position when there was nothing to gain. Not sure why these folks felt it necessary to move live shit, transport it back, and then just leave it sitting around.
