  5. What a fucking legend. CBS highlight
  6. Coach on the (back)field!
  7. Ding ding, Center. I closely follow the Lions and the retirement of Frank Ragnow has turned the Lions OL from elite to average at best, which has turned Jared Goff into an average QB, which has made the Lions entire offense mediocre. Losing him was like knocking the first domino over and the rest are falling one by one.
  8. SoCo is a little bougie for Aggy, head down to dirty 6th for a look at Aggy in its natural habitat.
  9. I don’t like this data point because it’s credible and undermines my thesis. Seriously, the reason I’ve made this proclamation is because neither college or nfl teams believe that DT is that important, but I think they are potentially wrong, for the reasons I stated above. However there is a good argument for LT being more important, for sure.
  10. They’re going to all over our section at the game because it seems largely a brokered section and agroid is willing to pony up large sums to get their shot at beating them sips. Texas better win at DKR.
  11. Today
  12. That was temporary.
  13. Holy shit. I always knew molé was a lot of work, but man. The Red Iguana in salt lake is literally a 9.5 hour drive from me and i think I'd rather do that than try and do what you did. God speed good sir.
  14. This one is weak on the supporting cast. We hear barely any mention of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin ... Those men were doing things important to the Revolution. But Ken Burns, maybe he assumes that we watched his other documentaries.

  17. Tim Roth is a favorite of mine. Loved him in the Tin Star series. He just kinda plays himself in most of the stuff he does. At least it seems that way to me. Kinda like Jason Bateman playing the same person.

  19. Plains, Trains and Automobiles. Got to see it on the big screen at Regal. I had not seen the movie since I was a kid when we rented it at a video store. The scene where Candy drives the wrong way and they are sitting on the trunk watching the car burn had me crying laughing. I don’t know why, but that got me the most. Candy and Martin together was just a great pairing. Martin cussing out the woman at the rental car counter was hilarious as well. Beautiful movie.
  20. I read about that a few months ago. The gap between LT and QB was surprisingly large.
  21. My problem with it is that there always has to be a supporting cast of sorts, and even a situation where members of that supporting cast are at the same level - one could make the case for Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Paine, etc.
  22. order of average salaries in the NFL: LT >> QB > ILB ~= OLB > EDGE ~= DE > OG ~= DT > C > WR...
  23. This thread is entertaining, but the lagniappe is people dealing with absolutes with one of the best posters on the board sharing his experience with alcoholism, as if he just read a pamphlet about the conditions and recovery.
  24. Carlton is fine - He's big and athletic with decent stats: 54 tackles, 38 solo tackles, 5 sacks, 2 caused fumble, 4.9 tackles per game.
