Go back and read the thread. I’m not going to re-post the Mystic notice that royiv was asking for a link for right before I posted, or the La Junta video where I was proven right, or anything else. I have no angle. I’m a Waldemar dad. Two of my friends lost daughters, two girls I don’t know went to my kids elementary, and I’ll be attending 2 funerals. I’m interested in keeping up with this news, and this is better aggregation than Twitter, even wading through the attacks and incessant blaming. Fuck off with your accusations.

A shitty motel with 50 rooms has a night clerk throughout the night to monitor for problems. A camp with over 600 young girls sure as hell better have people awake at all hours, looking out for any potential danger. When that camp is next to a river and the forecast shows a chance of flash flooding, that should be the threat you don’t take your eyes off of.

USMNT 2025 - Easy English, hard ones Spanish

And this is the reason why the 2002 team will continue to be the gold standard despite the fact that they had half the talent. They had 3x the heart and grit. They were out to prove something about American soccer. The teams these days just dont care enough. -
I was driving to the North Austin area to go play a poker tournament on Saturday. I knew there was still flooding going on but I didn't have any idea how bad it was not that far south/southwest of me, driving down 1331 towards the Granger Lake area I got an emergency alert about flash flooding "in the area" that I wish I had taken a screenshot of because I was stunned by how utterly useless it was. No information whatsoever on the location of the flooding or even what county the alert was for. It's no wonder that most Texans simply ignore these. e: There was no flooding at all where I was or where I live (I was still in Milam County at the time).

Man. It seemed like a lot.

This state has broken me. I recognize this is a huge tragedy and feel for the friends and families of those known to be deceased and those still missing, but for whatever reason I'm not fighting back tears or feeling much of anything deep inside. Uvalde fucking wrecked me and ever since my ability to feel sympathy and compassion has weakened greatly. Fuck this god damn state.

Pope Francis and Zelensky have had more to say about this than Trump.

I can’t Imagine Donovan or Dempsey back in the day choosing to not play for the USMNT because they were tired or wanted to stick with their club team. The new crop of players don’t seem as invested in 🇺🇸 as the guys in the early 2000s -

This was one of the biggest out-of-nowhere punches to the gut ever for me. I’ll never watch that movie again.

If ONLY the rest of the threads could do the same...

Bullshit. You said a friend was on the rescue, a day after posting lousy maps that were incorrect. And the things you posted that were correct were just things that everyone else knew at the time. What the fuck is your angle?

Oh I don't know, just brainstorming here ... but maybe the people running these camps situated along a river and responsible for hundreds of kids as it was violently storming.

https://www.facebook.com/share/1Af6kv5T2L/?mibextid=wwXIfr I’ve met this kid out at the skatepark. He’d go after work, bringing Gatorades for everyone, and teaching kids like my son how to skate. Salt of the fucking earth.

Those entrusted with 700 girls in low lying areas for damn sure better be.

It’s great to see that reporters are asking real questions. Unfortunately it took a lot of dead girls to give these journalists a bit of a spine. They need to put pictures of the girls in every newspaper and news broadcast.

plaintext It was about 1 a.m. on the Fourth of July when the facilities manager at a central Texas summer camp saw water from the Guadalupe River steadily rising amid a deluge of rain. Aroldo Barrera notified his boss, who had been monitoring reports of the storms approaching Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly, a recreation destination where an intercultural youth conference had been called off early just hours earlier. Despite an absence of warning by local authorities, camp officials acted quickly on their own, relocating about 70 children and adults staying overnight in a building near the river. With the kids safe, camp leaders including President and CEO Tim Huchton were able to avoid the catastrophe that hit at least one other camp near Hunt, where the 500-acre Mo-Ranch is located. “They helped them pack up,” Lisa Winters, communications director for Mo-Ranch, told The Associated Press on Sunday. “They got them up, they got them out, put them up on higher ground.” They had a plan and executed it. In another report I heard they actually moved a bunch of kayaks and canoes to higher ground also. The same thought process probably went on at La Junta as well. To @troph’s point all the camps should have an emergency plan and drill on it before any kids show up. It’s government’s job to require they have it in place and provide adequate warning. it is beyond asinine that kerrville does not have tornado sirens in the year 2025 i'm shocked we don't have a state law that requires them for any city of more than 1000 people

I have permission to post one of the girls that one of my cousin’s friend is looking for, I don’t have permission to post the name or picture of the other girl. I would just ask if you hear anything or learn any news if you could please DM me. As of now, neither girl has been located but I thought I would share the name and face of one of the girls since I have permission. greta is the niece of my younger cousin’s best friend. thanks. 🙏🏼

That was in the comments section of whatever Blue Sky calls their equivalent of tweets. Maybe he's the one that posted it in the comments, but I hope he just picked one of the most shocking responses and didn't type it out himself (or herself).
