Dang, didn't even think of that. Laying a big egg in this one would certainly rile the natives.

I think it would have resonated more in roles where men are actually a majority of the new talent pool. Citing media, communications, etc. when two thirds of new graduates since 1983 are women is kind of stacking the deck. I do agree that it can radicalize men but they are not pursuing college degrees at the same rate as women in an increasingly information-based economy. This is the coal miners complaining that there aren't any great coal jobs anymore when if they want to work in energy they should be joining the navy to get nuke training and move where the jobs are.

BOOM MOTHER FUCKER - Will Muschamp's Triumphant Return
WinningIsHard replied to Nueces River Rat's topic in Football
We scored 7 points against Ohio state and 10 against Georgia, 21 against a shitty Florida defense, and 16 against Kentucky. The defense is a wash. Who is going to turn the fucking offense around? -

TIL there’s something called fraud tourism. Congrats, Minnesota.
TwiceHorn replied to Vato Macho's topic in Daily Texan
So the crime indicted there is about 2.1 million and there's rank speculation that it's half of the Minnesota outlay. They also took shots at Somalians. That is not standard DOJ material to speculate about unindicted crime. This reeks of Trumpian bullshit. And this guy talking, Joe Thompson, is the First Assistant US Attorney, who is usually a pretty apolitical civil servant, an actual prosecutor/trial lawyer. In this case, he's another expired US Attorney appointment from Trump, so a complete Trump hack. -

I feel like this thread exists in an alternate reality where our "bad" season wasn't 9-3 in the SEC with wins over A&M and OU. I think there are clear areas where Sark needs to improve, but I just don't see this as the beginning of a downward slide. New ideas with Muschamp actually make me feel better about not falling into a malaise.

Hey PK -- What would you say you do here?
Wilcox Cummingtonite replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
PK was good but massively overrated. Dropping Colin Simmons and Trey Moore into pass coverage is enough to fire him. not to mention, the back end of our defense sucked the whole time he was here except when we had Mukuba. -
A nation without a formal navy has not only defeated Russia's Black Sea fleet, but is hitting Russian ships off the coast of Africa in the Atlantic, and now in the Mediterranean. Ukraine-Russia war latest: Kyiv blows up Russian oil tanker in Mediterranean Guessing the blue dot at the western end is where it was hit. Would love to know how they are getting their drones that far out there.

Against Georgia there’s a good chance our corners continue to play 10 yards off on 3&5 after the 1st quarter. I think that is what Sark is talking about. There’s just too many games where we were playing too soft when we didn’t need, especially in crucial situations. The back end was never in sync with the front and that starts with the DC. Sark obviously wanted a guy that can navigate the entire defense at a high level.

Ok, but taken at face value what do you think? Look there is a lot about this essay I find very silly. But the reason why it resonated with me was because it aligns with my first hand experience and direct visibility to what was happening, which is what 956 saw as well and describes above. If I was a millennial male who was denied opportunities exclusively on the basis of my race and/or gender I would be pretty bitter and pretty cynical also, and I have to think it drove a few people straight into the arms of the American right wing or whoever wanted to pursue that grievance.
