Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

If I were forced to bet I would bet he ends up with more points this year than he will get next year.
-
Yeah, that's what I was referencing by the "last fiasco." Discharge petitions don't fix the leadership issue, and ineptitude, which is what Stefanik claims she wants to fix. If it's really a problem then call a vote.

Could this be the craziest coaching carousel of all time?

No worries, Ben R has a suggestion -
-
Donnie must be upset with his wee little Johnson and is sending Stefanik after him/it.
-
Remember the vote-a-rama last time they tried to replace a speaker? It's easier just to use discharge petitions and go around Johnson.
-
Vandy is so bitchmade

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

Am I crazy for thinking Penn St is going to have the best transfer portal class in the history of the sport once they hire a coach because they only signed 2 kids in this class?! -
Lol

First, didn't the republicans underperform at the midway point of Trump's first term? And then again in the actual election? Second, then why don't they fucking call for a vote? Did they slip in some rule saying they couldn't after the last fucking fiasco?

It's 50 this season and it was 49 or so last year. It is unique to the academies in that every student is 'on scholarship' and receives a stipend. Add in the extreme differences in culture/ training obligations and academics, and their washout rate is higher than Big State U. You'll find Navy and AF in the same situation. -
Is Wisner gonna return for 2026 season??

I think Lamar Brown is more into aggy. He's never been pro-Texas (or non-pro) he's more indifferent towards us. Anderson on the other hand, that would be massive. -
Has it been 5 years? George Will wrote another reasonable article

Contractors and architects have a love-hate relationship. In this case, I hope the architect drops dead. And the contractor that is building the damn thing? I hope we are banned from working on anything Federal for the next 20 years until the stench goes away.

Wingo just has inconsistent hands; there is no need for a qualifier. He does not run great routes. Right now, he is an athlete playing WR. He has 1st round potential, but he is not close to that ceiling in the current iteration.

Very pretty goal. Well designed.
