CDC to SEC: grow a pair

Do schools not normally pay for student athlete's means "for the duration of their respective athletic seasons"? I remember when I was at UT back in the day there would sometimes be a line of athletes at chipotle and they would all order and then someone would pay the whole bill. Is this a benefit for the athletes or the schools?

Crazy that Project Warp Speed was literally the only truly useful and successful thing that DJT I did, and now not only has MAGA disowned it they’ve also gaslit themselves into believing DJT didn’t do it.

Didn't know where to post this and hadn't seen it until today, so here it goes. 247 posted their updated talent composite rankings heading into the season. Link is below. Highlights: -walk-ons like Endries and Taaffe do not contribute to the scores due to the rankings being based on high school recruiting. -STs guys who did get scholarships are counted, so guys like Lance St. Louis and Will Stone do count. -Those are two flaws with the system and that could create an imbalance for any school that doesn't develop, or portal, walk-ons and does not offer ST players. -Development of talent is pretty key, obviously. This ranking does a decent job of inadvertently highlighting who does and does not develop the talent on their campus. I know I'm biased, but ATM and OU both stand out as programs on this list who are performing below their ranking on an annual basis now. Auburn, Florida, and Miami are also pretty hideous developers if you just go off rankings versus output. ATM and Auburn are by far the worst. -The falloff from Texas at 4 to Oregon at 5 is rather large. Georgia is way out in front, but a big portion of that is that they've got so many more signees on their roster. -You can argue that there are at least 3 tiers on this list. The first 4 teams should be considered CFP favorites. 5-16 should be considered CFP regulars and 17-down is everybody else. Now, is that infallible? No. ATM and Auburn immediately debunk that premise. But as shorthand, for me at least, the premise makes sense in terms of generally matching my expectations. https://247sports.com/college/texas/team/texas-longhorns-football-43/roster/ -

What’s the penalty for your big cast getting stuck in someone’s jersey? -
They have been teasing data for 2 years but never publishing it... that seems pretty bearish. Everyone I know who trades biotech thinks it's a scam company based in south Florida that the ceo just treats as a piggy bank.

In all seriousness, from the updates it sounds like Moore and Wingo are the focus at WR. To me that suggests that the staff would rather have an extra RB or TE on the field than a third WR (presumably White Chocolate). But that doesn't mean he won't see the field. Imagine that we're up by less than a score late in the 3rd quarter. Out trots Jaggy and lines up in the X. The DB looks at this goofy ass white kid and thinks "well this is a run play." The ball is snapped, Jaggy does his goofy arm-flailing shit, and the DB takes his eyes off Livingstone for second. Next thing he knows, Parker motherfucking Livingstone is 10 yards behind him, on track to catch an absolute dot from Manning in the end zone. You don't start a chess match by moving your queen in front. You start with the pawns. You save your best pieces for checkmate.

in / excellent cast.

Why not? I take Ubers to/from client's offices in various cities around the country. It's easier/faster/cheaper than renting a car. Even with a stop in College Station the travel time would be shorter than driving your own vehicle. And there would likely be some sort of hub at both ends of the line where you could handle the last mile with ride share or rental car options if you prefer that. Yes, HSR is expensive af to build in the US. No, it's not likely to be profitable. But it is likely to increase productivity and reduce traffic on the Interstates in the major cities it connects. We should have been building it out over the last 50+ years like the Japanese.

Not trying to CR it, just amazed anyone is actually supporting that fuckstain Garza as his office continues to fuck over Travis County with a rise in crime stats and lack of accountability for recidivists.

My UEC play last October at $8.30 is now $10.51. Sumpin’ up with uranium stonks. Only 20k in it so it can ride for years upsy-downsy - and I will leave my kids that and the rest of the brokerage account when I die. I am, however, going to spend the entirety of the IRAs and 401(k)s on hookers and blow. That’s cheaper than a second wife, right?

I think Clemson was handicapped quite a bit by their DC last year. I think they pretty massively upgraded hiring Tom Allen. I have no faith in LSU and believe their QB is one of the most ridiculously overrated players in the country. I think Clemson wins this one easily. -
Sociopath is on another level clinically but I get the idea. I think it's highly probable to identify some deviant behaviors or tendencies from all highly successful people in all professions. Hell... look at Muschamp, except when he coached for us so it was cool.
