Looking at the field in Napa, and I'm kind of surprised to see Jordan and Phil in the field.
Must want to knock some rust off/work on their game before heading to Winged Foot next week, and playing against a fairly weak field (nobody in it from East Lake - as I glanced at the list)

Maybe their wives just wanted to get their drink on.

The season is off to a bad start. Oh well, at least we’re getting The Masters in 2020. Could be worse.

These majors being played right along with all of the dogshit beginning of year events is hilarious.

Jordan, on his last hole of the day, merely needs to bogey a Par 5, the easiest hole on the course, to make the cut, and he proceeds to drive it right in the woods and doubles. Misses cut. His game is in shambles. He should stop playing until he gets his driver working. This is embarrassing.

what the heck is this?

It’d be a really stupid shot for me to take because I was taught to do everything with my left shoulder and left arm (I’m right handed). I don’t even think about my right hand/shoulder.

I’ll bet he was getting too handsy on his chips and slightly pulling chips and/or hitting them too cleanly and flying the hole. This is why he’s doing the one hander. It’s something a pro giving you lessons might have you do 10 times as a practice tool.

It’s also a good way to chip when you’re lying 9 on the par 4 18th, need to get it up and down to break 100, and are so disgusted with yourself that you don’t give enough of a fuck about any of that to be bothered to put your beer down.

Yep. There are two benefits. Help your index and don’t have to bend down to get your beer. Plus it’s always great to watch people say “fuck it” and always great to lose it when frustrated.

Kisner is in social media hot water.

Kisner is an idiot. I also had to Google who Rex Chapman was (I'm young).

He’s not an idiot. He made a really terrible curious comment that seemed to be a personal attack on Chapman. Perhaps he was irked by the anti-Trump rant by Chapman and didn’t even read about Chapman’s parents or family friends’ deaths.

Anyway, Chapman has a very, very checkered past and is a bit of a pontificator.  I actually like both Kisner and Chapman.

I should have put this in the things that make you LOL thread (some lulz in the replies)

I've seen your drives on the course, if that's indicative I hope you have a chauffeur off the course
