  1. So they’ll still get to see Montana.
  2. I used the free version for a long time. Just checked and now I'm on the paid version but don't remember why. Mostly I just use it to follow my son and keep up with his high school track workouts. My rides go on there automatically but it's rare that I actively do anything with it. Strava for mountain biking seems like overkill. Every trail and type of terrain is so different that keeping track of mileage really doesn't mean anything like it does for a roadie or a runner. 10 miles on one trail might be a casual cruise while 10 miles on another trail might be a multi-hour ass-kicking. I guess a lot of people use it to chase KOMs or to compare their efforts on a trail. I'm rarely ever aware of how fast I go or how long a trail takes me. I tend to judge myself on the obstacles I clean or fail to clean each ride without regard to the speed. Trailforks is my go-to app. I use it to find trails, to get un-lost, to remind myself of trail names, etc... MTB Project is also good and has better descriptions of trails if you're somewhere unfamiliar, but for just seeing them and navigating them I like Trailforks user-experience best.
  3. Duggy's has done good work for me.
  4. Lincoln Riley is the child of two people who think it's ok to give your kid a last name for a first name.
  5. Needs Bert
  6. Did mine 6 months ago and it took 4 weeks. Regular service, not expedited. Situation seems fluid, State Dept website says 16 weeks now.
  7. After a Thursday night game week when they have extra time before the next game, and with access to a private jet that gets him to Ohio in an hour and a half or so…. Who cares? I’m glad he’s not here and I don’t really care for the guy but in the world of the NFL this doesn’t move the needle for me.
  8. Didn’t his old lady already tweet something that sounded like her being cool with it all? Whether she did or not, I don’t see this being anywhere close to something to derail anybody’s career. He rubbed a girl from outside her pants. Meh.
  9. My gap year consisted of getting up at noon every day to watch The A-Team reruns with Paco and then getting drunk on Miller High Life bought from the only gas station we knew our fake IDs would work, and maybe bang the girls that worked at Pizza Hut if we were lucky. Pass out at 2am and do it all again the next day, other than that the Pizza Hut girls who were already tired of our shit. Surprisingly, that gap year did not prepare me well for college and I ended up flunking out the following year. That lead to following Paco into the Marine Corps before finally starting all over at age 24 with good results. TL/DR: if a gap year doesn’t seem to work out quite right, try six.
  10. Who the fuck am I supposed to bitch about my kids homework assignment to or ask who to send excused absence notes to or ask what time the middle school football game is now?!!!
  11. Lincoln Riley's favorite day in Fall is when Pumpkin Spice Latte returns to the Starbucks menu.
  12. This was the first win that gives good information about who we are. TCU may not be what they were in recent years but nobody should have been expecting anything other than a dogfight. It was and we came out on top. We still have weaknesses and probably will for a while but I'm happy with where we are. Anyone expecting us to look like we did against Rice and Tech every week just isn't in tune with the realities of college football. There's things to work on but today was good. Another dogfight next week.
  13. Do you even Surly? Key contributors don't exist. Guys are either stars or scrubs. There is no in-between.
  14. See those all the time from airplanes. Usually it's when you're descending into a cloud and the airplane is directly between the sun and the cloud. The shadow of the plane will always be right in the center of the rainbow.
  15. I bet some middle aged cougar is out there posting on a stripper board and calling themselves Neverdivorceacpa.
  16. Well it only took 5 years but I finally found something good to say about Tom Herman.
  17. I'm tapping the brakes on that. Today was great. OL did what they were supposed to against a shitty tech team. I'm not calling it a transformation until mid-October.
  18. It's user error on your end, regard. Stickied threads work just fine on tapa.
  19. He had the hardest hit of the game!
  20. It will be spun. Hell it already is being spun. The focus is turning to addresses, people voting in the wrong counties, etc... The people who wanted there to be fraud aren't simply going to change their minds over these results. They'll just move the goalposts and continue blabbering on like idiots about some other circumstantial bullshit that they think proves widespread fraud. We're not done hearing about it.
  21. Not sure what kind of SUV you have, but 116,000 miles is not really all that much for most modern cars. You can update shocks, bushings etc. and have it driving new like new. Shifting issues could just as easily be a driveshaft that needs grease or dry rotted bushings that need replaced. Even if it’s the whole transmission, it’s a lot cheaper than a new vehicle. I own two vehicles right now, a Tacoma with 260,000 miles and a Lexus SUV with 210,000 miles. Not even close to being done with either one of them. They are both just now starting to see the shop a little bit more than they ever have. The life-limited parts like those listed above are starting to be replaced. But not even close to enough of a hassle or financial burden to make me want to drop $50k on a new version of either one.
  22. I hereby nominate it as a designated camping area.
  23. My trusty bone did some stuff I was very ashamed of and I had to censure it too.
  24. If it flies, floats, or fucks... you're better off renting.
