As at October 2023, RecycLiCo Battery Materials (AMYZF) had cash of CA$19m and no debt. In the last year, its cash burn was CA$4.4m. Based on that, from October 2023 it has 4.3 years of cash runway.  This has been a horrible investment, but it ain’t over.

Hell no it aint over, they just gave their board of directors another 12M stock options with an exercise price of $0.19. There's still years of stock issuances and milking this bitch.

And AMYZF has to about double from here for the rights to be in the money.  That’s a start.

Lulz. 3 years ago the stock was trading at around $2. Management now wants to reward themselves if they can hype the stock price above $0.20 which is where it was about 2 months ago. Handed out another 5% of the company to celebrate such a glorious goal. Exhibit A why they have kept this scam going since the 80's with no revenue. Because they can.

It worked!!!!!

AMY is up over 20%, (which sounds great, until you realize that is just about 2 cents and it is still under $0.15).
Now if it will only go up a meer 4X from here to get to almost even; can't believe they are handing out more options at these prices.
I did average down in December, so I am only down 80% at this time, and "only" down 8.5% on the recent purchase

I would guess its a slam dunk that the price temporarily spikes back over $.30 in the next couple of months now that the next crop of options have been planted. Look for a fresh round of ambiguous PR with updates about sample purity or another JV with a company nobody has heard of. Everyone can cash out, the price settles back down, they issue more  options and the cycle starts anew. TBH, its a good gig. Those dudes must have shit themselves when the price spiked to $2 in the great microcap runup of early 2021.

8X gets me even... lets go!!!

Need to start paying attention to when the shareholder meeting is so I can submit some sternly worded notes.

You dont need my help. With this fresh bunch of options granted, they will be pumping the shit out of this stock with press releases. They've hacked a cheat code. Why waste effort and money on developing a revenue stream, when they can just keep their payroll and R&D to around $200K per quarter and issue millions of stock options.

Sure I've heard of Zenith Electronics. Not sure what that has to do with some obscure chemical company in Taiwan with 30 employees: http://www.zenith.com.tw/

We’re on opposite sides of this trade.  Let’s see who gets the last laugh.

I'm not on any side of this trade as sold my my shares a couple of years ago once it became clear that revenue wasn't a priority for this company. Ive only shit on three companies consistently on this thread: HMBL, ALPP, and AMYZF. I was right on the first two, I guess we'll see on AMY.

Lulz, who the fuck would short a pink sheet  stock with a market cap bouncing around $30 million thats been around since 1987 with no revenue. I see no reason they cant keep it for another 10-20 years.

I will answer your question with a question - what was your goal/target when you bought it? If you have exceeded that target, then take some off the table.
I can tell you from more experience than it should have taken, that it is worse to watch gains erode due to greed/fear/stupidity and then hold hoping for the comeback.
At least take enough off the table to cover the cost of buying into it; nothing wrong with holding longterm, but at some point you will need to diversify which is a soft way of saying selling your winners

Yep.  I’ve been popping in and out a little bit.  I have no desire to watch it all day every day, but after each big jump lately I’ve been getting out and then getting back in at the next days dip.  Got out yesterday at 1136 and back in today at 998.  Other than a few excursions like that I’m keeping this at least through the next earnings release.

GERN’s AdCom date is this Thursday. March 14th.  That committee will decide if GERN’s drug, Imetelstat, should be submitted to the FDA for approval.  I think the drug works. Lengthening the time between transfusions generally increases survival. Imetelstat treats the cause not just the symptoms and is therefore a disease modifying drug. And, if this one gets recommended and approved, the next phase 3 is treating myelofibrosis using the same drug… It should be approved as well. So, if there’s a green light for GERN on Thursday, I expect the stock to move a couple bucks (it’s currently at $2.23).  It’s the FDA decision that will have the biggest impact on the share price.  The PDUFA, target date is in May, but after AdCom, the FDA doesn’t have to wait that long to make a decision and they could decide to give the drug approval much earlier.  Have owned GERN for eleven l-o-n-g years and we’re at the finish line.  If Imetelstat is not approved, it’s likely the beginning of the end for Geron.  This is Biotech and it’s as close as you can get to a casino.  Long GERN 6000 shares at a cost basis of $3.19.

IBRX +.48 to $5.53.  The PDUFA date for IBRX’s drug, Anktiva, is April 23rd.  Anktiva has, virtually, no side effects and is better than the current standard of care…..what’s not to like.  Long IBRX 27,800 shares at a cost basis of $9.77.

GERN down 18% today to $1.75.

Those March call options on the $2.50 strike for $.21 seem like a half decent basketball wager.

If the AdCom committee doesn’t approve GERN’s, Imetelstat, on an eight week transfusion argument, they need to revoke BMY‘s drug approval of, Luspatercept, which used the same milestone.  Luspatercept’s efficacy is a quarter of that of Imetelstat and the study used less sick patients.

On the other hand - the drop in this stonk is dropping couple of days like someone really wants out starting at $2.40 and continuing. That being said what Trey posted has my interest up... (don't do it Wally, swear to god it would suck to pull the trigger
