good value.  had a great 2016.  they switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and obviously hurt.  He was their only good DL too.

Can't have enough good pass rushers.

Would have rather gone with Sweat if we were going pass rusher and this guy needs a lot of "coaching up" but he's long as shit....

Yeah, not sure why Sweat is even still available.  Gotta be something there, but not as well known as Hurst.

At this point is Hurst worth the risk.  I kind of think so

Agreed, but we don't know how serious the heart condition is..... half the league is ominous.  I also like Sweat but again, seems like medical drop.

Settle from Tech is still out there for DT.... He's a little like Poona.  We could go Poona later.

Would take Settle or Poona to eat up blocks without a doubt.

Any thoughts on taking Griffin if he's still there?  Wouldn't hurt to Double Dip at LB, and he's really productive despite the Hand.  Would be a ST stud day 1, and would be very good on sub packages.  Can Cover and rush the passer...wouldn't need him to play every down to worry about shedding blocks in run game.  Just a thought.  Would probably prefer a DT here...but wouldn't hate that pick.  Plus the story would be just so perfect, especially for the Cowboys(you know Jerry would think it)

TE Coach is shaking hands with the Front Office.  they probably went TE.  Dalton Schultz from Stanford is the guy everyone is saying.

Stanford TE?  Old School TE who blocks in line and catches a few passes.

there are still guys at 1 tech left and they keep falling.  the league does not value that position as much as Cowboy fans think we should.

You can still get Settle, Fatukasi, and Ford in the next few rounds.  They should add one today, or at least I hope they do.

They got the TE that was regarded as one of the better blocking TE’s in the draft. That is a solid pick that will pay dividends with what they do in the running game. May not be a Witten replacement, but there aren’t many Witten’s available.

Blocking is reportedly his forte so it's important.  He's a lot like Swaim in reality.  He has soft hands, not super athletic and needs to put on some weight, but he's the type of guy who will give everything he's got and probably play a role on ST, a place where Hanna excelled.

When we drafted Witten, no one knew he was a Witten, including the Cowboys.

Sure they did. He did things at Tennessee, and was one of the younger players in n the draft that year.

They thought the same about Dave lafleur too, but that’s what they thought they were getting.
