Grichuk is drunk

Listening to Home team broadcast and they were commenting on Semien having a few words for Grichuk too.

Then Edwards gets all demonstrative over a close play at 1st base...in which Machete was safe.

Interesting team dynamics going on.

Our record against above .500 teams is insane.  Good series win boys.

Hope we get a national seed with that kind of RPI...

Can you trade for an entire bullpen?  Is that a thing?

It's not like Herschel Walker or Ricky Williams is available...

7-5 in this really tough 15 game stretch. After the Boston series, we have a really easy schedule for a while. Next 19 we play Min, Balt. (2), Tex. , Det, CWS

Too soon.  At least we're not playing Colorado to complete the trifecta of suck that have swept us this year

The Astros are 4663-4723 all time- 60 games below .500. If we play .600 ball the rest of the way we will end the year with 95 wins and win the division.
we will be 39 games under 500 for the franchise record.
go 100-62 next year (layup, naturally) and we are 1 game under 500. Opening day- 2023- the year this team finally gets back to 500 again as an organization.
had a 10 minute break and wanted to share that.

In case anyone was wondering Luhnow was 657-639. Remarkable accomplishment considering how bad a situation he got and he immediately intentionally made us rise and stared off with 106 wins in his first two years combined and ended with 107 wins in his final year.

Joe Blow leaves mosquito infested Colt 45 Stadium after a loss on April 27, 1962 thinking “That's alright....let’s get back to .500 tomorrow.”

April 18, 2006, Astros reach .500 for first time in franchise history (since their inaugural season) at 3507-3507.

May 4, 2006, the astros reached 4 games over .500 for franchise history at 3516-3512, the high-water mark for franchise history.

May 14, 2006, the Astros began the day at 3523-3523 all-time, but would lose and fall below .500. They've been below .500 since.

Thanks. I thought we actually got back to 500 briefly but wasn’t sure when and how long. So, less than one full fucking month at 500 in the entire history of the franchise?

The Astros are 14th in historical winning %. The almighty Yankees have won at only a .568 rate. 2nd best is the Giants at .535.

I know it’s not that bad. But that’s a small amount of time to be over 500 in 57 years. It’s not like we are Philly.

Minor edit:

Last day at .500 was May 13, 2006 (3518-3518).
