Imma wait till I wake up a little more to try this one, but I'm salivating over a grid with the Washington Senators, Cubs, White Sox, STL Browns, and Brooklyn Dodgers.

Yeah I'm pretty embarrassed it’s all color photos on mine.

At first I was upset they only had teams...but then I saw one of the teams was Baltimore so I was going to be ok.

Pretty simple. Just got confused when it came to the Mariners.

I thought Alex Cora had played for the Mariners but um...no that was Joey Cora. Whoops.

Went full dumbass selecting Rodney for my TB/SEA pick before I realized I couldn't think of another closer for them. Had to sit on it awhile.

I am impressed that over 2,000 people played today's immaculate grid couldn't think of one Hall of Famer for the New York Yankees.

I started to put famous Yankee Randy Johnson in that spot.

Note to self....don't do this when I wake up.

Fucked myself in my head thinking the 200 hit only had to play for a team so instead of going with my layup for Toronto I decided to pick someone else who I knew had 200 hits with another team but not with Toronto. Idiot.

Lmao he is my go to.

I know this didn't have Bal, but every time they pop up unfortunately I cannot get him out of my head so he is the only person i can think of. Him and Tony Tarrasco.

I thought Fred McGriff or Joe Carter would have had a 200 hit season for the Blue Jays, but I guess not

Spoiler

200 hits is rarer than you think. You really need a guy who had a .330 season or something like that to feel comfortable getting that one. I knew Olerud was the batting champion in 1993 and had an amazing season...but he had exactly 200 hits.

I checked the stats afterwards and McGriffs highest hit total was 182. Joe Carter actually had 200 hits in a season, but it was with the Indians.

image.thumb.png.c15c5055c140277a4ded159876c8ee07.pngReally displeased with having to choose Howard and Halladay.  As was Yount but still surprised he was as high as he was and definitely surprised Olerud was that high.

It's because he drew walks. I had no idea my Olerud guess was that close because I forgot he walked.

Vladdy Senior had three 200 hit seasons.

Yeah, walks and strikeouts are death to running up high hit numbers.  That's why Altuve put up that 225 hit season back when he was more slappy.  Now, he walks more and has more strikeouts that come with the HRs.
