The amount of shitty teams that will make the playoffs is staggering. LSU is fucking abysmal. Venebals making the CFP after taking a beating from us is hilarious. Same with Vandy and aggy. Some teams are going to go full-on OSU vs Tennessee AND Oregon 2024, Penn St vs SMU, Penn State vs Boise St. Those three I mentioned are going to get lured into a gonzo gangbang in round 1.

There are three teams that can win it all: Ohio State, Indiana, Georgia

Not looking good. Down to our last chance with Auburn.

don't forget Notre Dame losing to Stanford.  Notre Dame is only about a 32 point favorite.

I hope they get a shitty draw.  They play a good offense and they are going to get embarrassed when Mateer has to throw the ball.

They'll be the 2nd or 3rd worst team in the playoffs so a shitty draw is damn near guaranteed.

when you game the schedules and you don't come close to playing everyone in your conference you are going to get shitty teams.

How do you know he won't be back for his 85th year in college?

That's the greatest and worst thing about college football — we don't know because the NCAA are spineless crustaceans and fold any time someone challenges them.

They’re a bad bad offense.  Special Teams (K) and D are elite.  Those type of teams make games look hideous.  Whatever.  Keep the recruiting momentum etc.  We can all agree they aren’t winning shit in the playoffs.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. Y'all suck.

Welp, let’s just get some bowl practices in and prep for next year.

Ain’t gonna be no CFP Texas.

The bowl will be an exhibition.

Observations on LSU/OU:

  1. Both teams are really very mediocre.
  2. Both teams are not very football smart.
  3. Van Buren would be Texas's 5th option at QB
  4. Venables seems like he's not a very smart man.
  5. Camera men and producers did a good job finding random attractive women in the crowd.  Made the game more watchable.

Crazy that we would have 3 victories over playoff teams ….  But not make it.

As much as college football needs us, they sure AF like to completely fuck us as much as possible.

I’ll say it.

We are the most shit on Blue blood… ever.

Who even comes close?

2.  Vandy isn't making it.

I am not sure if ND losing helps us. They are not letting 6-7 SEC teams in. ND's spot will probably go to a B12 or ACC (i. E., Miami) team.

Lol. I’m not lost.  It’s OU.  They ALWAYS suck.  Enjoy the golden hat.
I’ll enjoy the build up and banter around the playoffs.

Goddam, FSU sucks hard. How do you beat Bama in game 1 and completely fold against ACC comp the rest of the season?

To be fair today they're folding against secsecsec competition.

TCU vs Cincinnati to finish the season. Another WTF Big 12 scheduling error.

Frogs should play BU or Tech last week of the season.

Florida plays well in one game all season and it's against you know who.

If we could have set the tone and recovered that fumble on the first play of the game, we would have won.

Hung out with him for a bit at a Marriott in downtown Charlotte when he was on a recruiting trip a couple years ago. Nice guy

They did not want to pay his $65mm buyout AND go find a new coach in one of the wildest coaching carousels in recent memory.  It's not a bad decision, but it's not a winning decision either.  Norvell has golden handcuffs/parachute, while FSU has a golden millstone around its neck.

I can't believe I will wilfully subject myself to watching Bama-Barn. Why can't I quit you, CFB?

The same way we subjected ourselves to OU vs LSU. We're f'n gluttons

Yeah, I did skip the buyout stuff, but surely they have one booster who is a football fan and will talk themselves into paying the money? Norvell is just so bad. If we played them I would love it, but also hate it because they would drop our SOS.

If Norvell is recruiting NC instead of Miami-Dade and backwoods FL towns, like Pahokee, it explains why he's struggling. Fuckin' kids chase rabbits to eat down there.

We are. God we are so sick in the head. I watched ou-lsu AND Tenn get the people's elbow. I tried to watch Oregon-UW, but it wasn't enough of a wreck for me, apparently.

Hey, Stanford covered by 24.5 points just last week.

Yep. I remember a Frank Gore story about that.

Vandy just hangs around though, they are irritating.

They have two close losses both on the road to ranked Bama and Texas.

Vandy actually has a good offense.  It keeps them in games.

Once Pavia and Stowers are gone, I'll bet they return to their mean; maybe a few more wins. But they will not be winning 10 each year unless their HC hits on a portal QB.

I want to see that offense if Pavia ever leaves, he may retire at Vandy.
