I got sick of replacing Goodyear's on the MB every 20k, so I said fuck that, and switched to Bridgestones and after 40k  they still have meat on them.

Its a 2018 that has 45k on it...I have started driving it more but I was averaging 8k or so miles a year and that included a trip to and from Minnesota and Colorado a few times.

I drive the shit out of mine.  And I notice zero difference between the Goodyear and the bridgestone, except wear.  Both runflats.

Fuck that shit.

I trade in after three years.

I haven’t done brakes or tires in over twenty five years.

Considering its faster than every mass production Ferrari until 2016 and every non z06 corvette ever made, yeah I'd race most anyone lol

As we walked out they thought i had this corvette that was parked out front - I told them my car is faster then they were intrigued. Nick Townsend thought his car was cool, then I told him I drove a station wagon. He thought I was trolling then he walked up on the car and was like bro this ain't faster than shit you cap. Then I started it and revved it up - he freaked out and wanted to hop in. He asked what the top speed was. I said 198. He sat there in disbelief then revved the engine himself.

And then you showed him how fast it was by getting on MoPac and moving 1 mile in 12 minutes.

I have a MB E350 and always buy the cheapest Discount Tires that will fit.  They are still not inexpensive, but they do fine.

I let DTC upsell me into some higher-grade Bridgestones last time. Never again.

You can't beat their service, though.

Not for pirelli p zeros. It's all the same.

I get my Porsche certified Pirellis (actually a different model number than the “regular” Scorpion Verde A/S) at Discount Tire and they are definitely cheaper than the dealership and I don’t have to pay the $300+/hour labor rate that they charge.

lol that P Zeroes are some sort of special tire that you have to get at a dealership. Discount Tire carries them.

I didn't say i had to get them at a dealership I said no one had them - they are actually not a high volume tire and people dont generally just stock them on hand. Discount didn't have them till Tuesday and no other independents did either. They had the soonest availability and they matched the discount tire price.
