They've also had a dogshit schedule. They're great, don't get me wrong, and will probably win 70 games this year. And they definitely have the best roster in the league. But they've only beat two teams who are above .500 so far - Houston in 2OT opening night and Atlanta. I'd like to see them challenged a little bit more than dysfunctional Memphis and Sacramento. They have the Lakers coming up for whatever that's worth and the Wolves towards the end of the month. But they don't face Denver until February.

They beat Golden State by 30 or something last night.

Dearly beloved... we are gathered here today to celebrate Jaden McDaniels. That's an electric player Jaden McDaniels but there's something else - Anthony Edwards.

And? This just in: games get out of hand and teams mail it in at garbage time, especially older ones. They’ve still played the easiest schedule in the league so far.

It's the one straight up trade that worked out well for everyone.  I always thought he could put up numbers like that on a different team.  He has some shortcomings on defense but his all around offense is great.  Those are numbers that Ben Simmons was putting up and everyone fawned all over him, BTW.

On a normal team not stocked up on high end talent I would have said they gave up too quickly on Giddey. It worked out well for each team on the trade. Giddey is a star in the making. He just needed a team where he could be the leader. His contract is an absolute bargain as well.

His is tonight going?  They're up on the Lakers by 30 at the half.  Their second best players has still yet to play.

The same Warriors team who gave up or something beat the Spurs tonight on the 2nd night of a back to back.

lol at anyone trying to discount what OKC is doing.  Don’t have second best player and on b2b…against a top 10 team and absolutely bludgeoning them.  You can talk shit on when they’re doing it…early season.   But what they’re doing is unprecedented.  No defending champ missing a top 2 player has started this hot.  Oof

I’m not discounting them. I said they’ll probably win 70 games for god’s sake. I just want to see them play some better competition. Lakers without Lebron. GS sat Horford for the back to back. They statistically have had the weakest schedule in the league so far.

I love my guys in the Purple and Gold, but we had no real back line defenders. This is somewhat predictable when the best team in the league, a still very young team, has guys that can get to the rim whenever they want to.

I’ll tune in to watch games regularly in March. Teams mail in so many games now that there is no real reason to invest any time in the games when some are glorified exhibition games/load management night where the stars just sit out because they want to. That’s not really happening in this game. The Thunder are just a lot better.

Lakers are 4th in the West and OKC is up by 59 points or something.

Your point is valid but you should be asking how good these other teams really are.

OKC is off to a very hot start. West will go through them and no one else.

That said, fuck OKC.

Nuggets fuckin around right now at the Clips for the 2nd part of their b2b. Need this dub to get to 9-2 against a lessened Clips squad.

Yeah - I guess. The Nuggets are nasty and Houston is really spicy if they can stay healthy.

I already know OKC is going to get a bunch of bullshit whistle stuff in the playoffs, though. Because this commissioner is a fucking pussy.

And this is reality and a big reason why I said what I said. Like playing against Kirby Smart with SEC refs. I’m hoping enough fans are anti OKC that the NBA allows the Rockets, Spurs or Nuggets a fair chance against them.

Spurs are a year away at least although I'd be shocked if we didn't make the playoffs. Wemby is just too young.

Title feels like a four - maybe five horse race depending on what the East looks like. OKC, DEN, HOU, NYK. Detroit maybe an early dark-horse. Something about that Cavs team feels off when it comes to winning a title.

Long season obviously. Just calling it like it is at the moment.

Jokic with 50 points with 1:57 left in the 3rd. 3rd quarter saw the Nuggs deliver an ass kicking.
52/11/6 through 3. Nobody can hit a shot but him tonight, so probably no triple double coming.

Every time Simmons has this dumbass on the pod I wonder what dirt the guy has on Bill. The guy is the most pompous and stupid fuck ever.

I went for a walk earlier and listened to some of it. I wound up turning it off for Russillo.

Klosterman is a good writer but a total fucking goofball.
