My dad is a former Marine and I grew up in Marine Corps/Navy bases.  My dad likes all those Navy boys.  Every time he needed to go someplace to fight, those fellas always gave him a ride.

Go Navy!

My Dad lied about his age to join the Navy in 1944 and served as a sonar operator on the attack transport USS Sevier in the Pacific Theatre in WWII.  He was at the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa and on his way to Japan as part of a U.S. invasion force when Pres. Truman dropped the atom bombs, Japan surrendered, and Dad became part of an occupying force.  He passed away 10 years ago. I have his Naval utility jacket and will wear it during the game.  Go Navy!  Beat Army!

Enlisted Navy son's boat, the USS Carl Vinson...and I love the cargo ship in the background for context of the enormity of the modern day carriers.

Army officer and West Point grad son's  equipment in route clearance( IED removal) which is not all that impressive compared to a floating city on the sea; but they save the hell outta lives.  He doesn't talk about it much, but one of the coolest things he did, IMHO, was debrief a conference of NATO dignitaries and brass as about a 23 year old Soldier.  Then their team trained those allies on the equipment for the next 6 months. The robot shit was badass.

The United States Corps of Cadets 🇺🇸…‘03 West Point Grad here…some insight into that photo is that the cadets are hungover from festivities last night and the fun part of waiting around all morning for the march in is hearing tales of conquests and failed attempts along with busting balls of your buddies for the dumb shit they did and making plans for Saturday night after the game 🍻Go Army! Beat Navy!

I say it every year, so here goes-  If you ever have a chance to attend this game, DO IT!!!

It's unlike any other sporting event and seeing it live is spectacular.  Fudge Nuggets is gonna be so damned mesmerized today with the goosebumps, electric moments, and maybe even a tear of pride or 2.  If the opportunity ever presents itself, you won't regret taking it all in.

2026 game will be at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ for the 6th time, 2nd at MetLife.
2027 has America's Game returning to Philadelphia, for the 91st time and 15th at Lincoln Financial Field.

Navy's uniform is better but the helmet is is lacking. Army's helmets are better but the uniform isn't great.

Did Navy get their goat back?
