I hope Texas is watching this game. OU will run the score up on every game they have left. It’s all about looking good for the Playoff committee.

Riley seems to have Patterson’s number. Orlando has done a way better job.

TCU won't be #1 Defense in B12 after this game.  Their offense is horrible right now.... BlowU offense might have the ball for 40+ minutes

Well I missed on Time of Possession

BlowU  37:04 ....... TCU. 22:56

Still an Ugly Offense keeping TCU from Winning.

BlowU Offense....... 536 yards

TCU Offense.......... 275 yards

OU can do that all they want....we both win em all from here on in we will play again and the result of that will be just a scooch more significant than beating Kansas by 60

Yeah. The CCG guarantees OU teabagging the rest of the conference doesn’t matter if we win out. But, they will surpass us in the rankings, and probably this week.

We're not a consistently good enough team yet to run up the score the way blOU does.

All we can do is focus on getting out of each week with a win, and let the cards fall where they may. We weren't supposed to contend for the playoffs so any sort of CFP consideration is gravy

I’m pretty tired of ou having a ridiculous offense.  Year after year, and these last 3 years with fucking transfer quarterbacks.

They'll be good on offense as long as they have Riley and Bedenbaugh.

OU's defense still looked like trash. Tech and WVU will be able to score points, but can either defense get enough stops to make it a game?

I mean, those transfers weren't exactly scrubs. They would've fared worse without them.

Riley is very young, which doesn't bode well.

It's insane that blOU was able to pick up the OC at ECU and have him pick up right where Stoops left off. Without ANY sort of purgatory or drop-off. How often does that sort of thing happen?

Good is fine. Best year after year gets old.

Eh, no different from the RapeU run. All world offense + no defense = no natty and lots of bowl losses. I'd rather have just a good offense coupled with a good to great defense.

But the point is that they’ve always found qbs and receivers from somewhere.  Receivers will always be there.

I bet rattler ends up great, because they’ve had a crazy run of qbs, with bell being the only exception and the year they had to play Paul Thompson because of injuries.

Happens when everyone including President, BoR, incumbent coaches, boosters and fans are aligned.

They've also had great continuity and coordinators since hiring Stoops.

Riley is probably gone this year, definitely gone after next year.

Where would he go?

Doubtful.  Expect to see OU at Jerry World.

lulz. He's not going anywhere.

Never. Think about the routes other hot shot OCs have taken. Morris spent years at a much bigger school in Carolina than ECU, then toiled at SMU and now has to rebuild Arky. He made some really bad choices and it may kill his career. Riley is on the totally opposite end of the spectrum. He lucked out big time with Stoops leaving. But he is really good, and has capitalized on the opportunity.

Only comparable I can think of is Malzahn, but Auburn ain’t OU, and ECU ain’t Arky.

Two great posts. OU has had a much better run than Baylor’s short stint, and Riley would be a moron to leave.

I don’t see it. Not this early for sure. He can make more money and have more control right where he is.

I guess that's the definitive word then. Forget all the reports of NFL interest.

The quote about RapeU was in reference to OU's insane offense run the last 3 years. So the length of their overall offense aptitude is irrelevant.

The NFL can be as interested as it likes. If Riley isn’t interested, what good is it?

All you peeps dismissing the notion as impossible are just as likely to be wrong. The NFL will come knocking with a big bag of money.

His quote is hardly a definitive no:

“Hard to say, it would be really difficult to ever leave this place,” Riley said when asked if he has an interest in coaching in the NFL. “This place is very invested in me and my family. They gave me a great opportunity, and I think this is one of the best if not the very best job in all of football. So I don’t know. I really, really enjoy the college game.

“I don’t know that you can ever say never. I don’t know what the future will hold. But yeah … it’s hard to see myself ever leaving Oklahoma right now.”

Chip Kelly- OC at New Hampshire thru 2006 and then hired as OC by Oregon in 2007 and named head coach in 2010

Chris Petersen as OC to head coach at Boise State

Yeah, I think this damn near a certainty.

That's Stoops' coaching staff, players and program. Tap the brakes on nfl talk.

If the Cowboys or Texans come calling, Riley will leave.

Jerry will close the deal by giving him him 24/7 access to his private gloryhole.

I hope he goes, but I’m not holding my breath. Unless he doesn’t like recruiting, which there’s no evidence of.

And even if tech outscores ou in Lubbock, I don’t see them losing a third time.  Tough to see too many scenarios where they don’t get into the ccg.

Coaching millionaire agent controlled adult men with egotistical club owners is a lot different than college. Plus he’ll probably  be making 5 to 6 million a year in a couple of years. OU is one of the top 5 or 10 programs in the country so it may be hard to top that.

He’s already making $4.8 mil base. It’ll be over 5 with his incentives.

I liked the old BCS setup, factoring computers... Much better than a committee changing criteria almost each & every year, to accommodate Ohio State over TCU, or Alabama over Ohio State just a few short years later...

OU will be in the CCG.  We need to worry about if Texas will.  Don't forget 2008.

Not a fan of the Jordan logo on football jerseys...especially these.
MJ can go fuck himself if he consented to have his logo on the jerseys of these fucksticks. Yeah, I said it..
