Papers, please. Surly thread of deportation cruelty dominance
Chopper replied to Captainant's topic in Daily Texan
So since the agencies are under the same umbrella agency, that somehow waves away legit concerns with DHS interfering with domestic travel by obtaining every single person's travel plans in advance? You realize these are the same people who have worked tirelessly to keep the FBI from obtaining ATF gun ownership records from going to the FBI even though they're "part of the same agency?" Obtaining every American's travel records is somehow "less intrusive" than street patrols? I think "intrusive" is perhaps not the word you're looking for. Even so, your argument relies on false equivalence to wave away blatant civil rights violations. Whether one is more or less instrusive is however besides the point. They're both illegal and shameful and to excuse one by minimizing the other is absurd. The article asserts they're looking for people "with deportation orders," but a) offers no proof, b) if you believe they're limiting usage of the info they have, you're wishcasting, and c) they're working toward revoking citizenship of naturalized citizens so they can deport them - so this breach will only get worse and more painful. This is a massive intrusion and frankly I'm shocked you'd minimize it. -
Ian Boyd thinks with the loss of Lafau, Michigan is guaranteed to win the bowl game becuz UT is too inexperienced with remaining LBs on the roster. So I guess he's expecting for Michigan to run all over UT.

OSiNT community a littled riled up because some bigger names took the Russians at their word about a video and it turns out it was not what it was. GeoConfirmed UKR - Disinformation. (Disinformation refers to false or misleading information that is deliberately created and spread with the intent to deceive, manipulate, or cause harm.) Russian forces are seen walking through streets and delivering a speech in a video, claiming they are patrolling Kup'yans'k. The footage even includes a map pinpointing the location and in the text with the footage they call out @ZelenskyyUa. However, the @GeoConfirmed location, performed by @rndr22 and verified by @Bielitzling, reveals that the patrol actually took place in Tavilzhanka, Kharkiv Oblast, approximately 18 km north of Kup'yans'k. It's particularly concerning that accounts such as @TheStudyofWar and @MilitarySummary accepted and shared this information without proper verification. This is precisely why the GeoLocation community exists: to combat misinformation through rigorous open-source verification.

As a staff we seem to lock up our priority guys in the portal fairly fast in past years. I'm confident there are a few conversations being had. Now, the bullshit that Flood has created ... tamper whatever, fix it. Ideally, we replace Flood and grab 2-3 starting quality OL. WR we recruited 3 or so 4/5* guys a year ago. They can't all be bad? If so, coaching issues. RB - yep we need at least one. The Florida guy seems great for this. If we don't fix Flood's debacle at OL, this won't matter.

We are going to have to shell out some massive contracts soon, obviously. His recent trend of moving back and stockpiling valuable but cheaper rookie contracts is no accident and has, for the most part, worked out well thus far.
