Colorado Vacation Destinations - Not Quite So Crowded, But Still Cool

Yes! Thank you for reminding me about Denver Biscuit. I wanted to eat there last time I was in Denver but didn’t have time. Definitely going to have to checkout that arcade. I figured it would be something chill while I get acclimated to the altitude before I start hiking. -

What have you seen in the past 10+ years that would give you the belief that the MAGA crowd can be reasoned with in any fashion? They want two things: for Trump to inflict pain upon the people they don't like, and for Trump to lie about how awesome he--and by extension, America--is. -

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen

This is accurate. I maybe should've mentioned that I'm a tenured professor, and I'm telling my kids to do some community college before they hit the 4-year school. And I really don't care if they get a 4-year degree or not. Just find something you like, work hard at it, and make yourself indispensable. I still think a 4-year degree is generally the safest bet to higher income, but it's definitely not the only way. -

It's elbow, not forearm. Walter is fine! (narrator's voice- he was not indeed fine).

South Carolina's Ashlyn Watkins, who tore her ACL last year and missed most of the year, is also taking off 2025-26. So Dawn will not have one of her star players

guess I'm dense - what are you trying to tell me?

Yes and no. That's not really right. He really only has 3 years and 100M left. The last 4 are all vesting options. They go 25, 20, 15, 10. They require over 500 plate appearances. So, if he sort of sucks in 2028 (the last year that's guaranteed) you just sit him 20 or 30 times or have him hit 8th or let nature take it's course, it doesn't vest and you don't owe him any of that....

I really look forward to the day when we dismantle this fucking thug led group and throw all of them in Guantanamo. I’ll be first in line to pay admission to go visit them in Cuba and laugh at them. These are fucking losers. All of them. I’ve never been a fuck the police person, but I am now. Fuckem. They all earned it.

Have any of these people getting arrested for interfering with ICE gotten convicted for anything yet?

I think a straight out pardon following positive testimony seems a bridge too far even for the orange shitbird. It would be such an obvious maneuver even his retard base could see that, right? I mean right?
-
he'll play at a higher level here and he'd fit in great at 3rd

I haven’t done a dynasty in several iterations of the game. As far a Derka streaming Battletoads, who’s gonna host it? He ain’t fucking up my Nintendo in the warp tunnel.

Correa would put buts in the seats, and if we can win another title, his statue can go next to Altuve's in front of the stadium

Professors earn vastly different salaries, depending on their field and the school they teach in. Business school professors make a hell of a lot more money, in part because business schools bring in a ton of $$$ through expensive MBA degrees and alumni donations from the corporate ranks. Next are teachers in the engineering departments, followed by those in the sciences and liberal arts who heavily rely on grants. Business school professors don't have to run labs. Business school Ph.D grads don't slave away in post-doc roles for years, while engineering post-docs will make roughly $60-70K/year at an R1 university. Most science post-docs make the NIH minimum, which was $54k/year up until recently. -
