  1. Past hour
  2. Paw, Paw! They’re letting negroes drink out of the water fountains at Bryant Denny!
  3. The problem is that Sarkisian wants to run IZ until he's blue in the face. He couldn't last year because of the RB room, but he's damned sure back at it again this season.
  4. Cristian Javier’s performance in 2025 has all kinds of small sample size noise (big red flag, for example, is a HR rate half his career average). Hell, counting on him to even be healthy going into a 2026 playoff series is a riskier bet than I want Crane/Brown faced with. I don’t think you can rely on him, either. Forget health, his performance when presumably healthy in 2025 shouldn’t make anyone feel comfortable as a rotation piece. I get the general optimism because you can find things to like about these two (and Blubaugh), but each requires betting on a big performance jump in 2026. I know you know they don’t ALL have to hit, but it’s also a bad way to build a team. We’re also avoiding taking about a Brown regression and that’s certainly in the range of normal outcomes, too.
  5. "once it passes his front bumper it's no longer his space"
  6. It grows on you...just a completely different film and tone than any of the others.
  7. wut
  8. I won't back up. Their fault for overshooting the spot and assuming I'm going to understand they want to be an incovenience to everyone and take their time to do a two-point back-in. I will just take the spot and head in, most of the time and hopefully it learns them a lesson for the future. Before you say IATA, If they were to somehow try and signal their intetion that would be different and I would acquiese. I'm talking about drivers who pass a spot and then expect us to understand that "oh jk i was really wanting this spot just going to back in"
  9. Y'all, 956 is being spot-on in this thread. And realize that by virtue of that, he is making a rather accurate comparison between the violent incitement sown by leadership of ISIS and....the leadership of one of our two main political parties. By choosing the path of "build and consolidate power around the idea of white/christian/nationalist rage....the know and intend that the rage they incite and feed WILL be acted on.
  10. This was the one detail I was most interested in. Could they locate him in Texas in another way besides the DNA showing up? Family also said he would travel often for work. Weeks at a time. That's when he would pull off these crimes. Just a random monster cruising the country. Very sad.
  11. Brooks just got back from his unofficial suspension and played well (at RT). I cannot blame Flood for that one.
  12. LHN app had a thumbnail claiming the newser was underway, but it wouldn’t open for me, now it’s gone. Is it working for anyone?
  13. No. 9-3 means no CCG, and we're not in with that record. At 10-3 with CCG game, win or lose, we might get in. Def in with a CCG win, even at 10-3.
  14. OZ blocking and pass pro was fine. They were solid there last year. The line is better at screening people. They have struggled moving people, which is kind of annoying when I have heard about big humans for 4-5 years. We seem to be coaching toward developing screeners. The lack of aggression on IZ and gap schemes is noticeable. Flood is a size queen, but that is not matching his proficiency. The difference in physicality between the DL and OL is night and day. If we did not see for the last 4-5 years, you would swear a different staff is coaching the offense and that includes the S&C.
  15. I’m not a fire Flood guy yet either. But his unit is probably the least talented unit on the team. I know he likes to recruit his types but if you can’t get them to execute they are worthless. I don’t know if Pittman gets another head coaching gig but he’d be a welcome addition on the staff.
  16. I get you. I think it’s for sure fair to say that the rhetoric inspired some of the direction of his anger, if not providing the type of framework and strategy associated with political violence. I did somewhat misspeak: while this stuff doesn’t remind me of formal ISIS fighting for a caliphate in the Near East, it does very much remind me of the lone figures who “pledge allegiance to ISIS” and erupt at a Christmas market or train station. In both cases, they are men who choose to identify with a triumphalist, intolerant reading of a faith that would if implemented transfer significant power to them. They transfer their own disappointment and failures to society’s alleged failure to align with the rules they would set for it. And again— the acts of violence are not meant to realistically bring about changes to align with their visions, they’re meant to relieve their own incandescent anger and frustration.
  17. You realize only one of the two names you've mentioned plays the same position as Stroh, right?
  18. Boy's a sophomore there. Biz school. Supply Chain @ Walton. ROTC/Guard. Frat. He loves it. We're close to pulling the cord and moving up there as well. Daughter will be in school in Tennessee so we're not 'that' far from her. Probably the Rogers/Goshen area if I had to guess
  19. I'm shocked he has us that high honestly. he said last week we'd need to beat Gator and Sooner first before moving up.
  20. Thankfully this one has already made it to stateside.
  21. Nice of Flood to let Nick Brooks and Neto rot on the bench while Stroh gets thrown around
  22. Finished last night. Not bad. Kitsch's hair became a distraction like a wig on an old homeless lady.
  23. Not sure I can watch this. I know nothing about big brother but these people are annoying as shit. And it’s not even a world race.
  24. Keegan has played in 2 Ryder Cups and is 4-3. I don’t think he has ever been a Vice Captain. Really green for being the captain. Especially considering the other options that are out there.
  25. My 2 variations of a reasonable offseason plan: Option 1: Trade Walker, Sanchez, and Dubon to free up salary Sign a 2nd/3rd tier free agent SP (Gallen, Flaherty, Eflin, King, Kelly, Verlander, Littell, Civale, Morton, Houser, Fedde, Scherzer, Heaney, Canning) Trade upper level high risk/ceiling prospects for a high ceiling SP (Gore, Lopez, Ryan, Alcantara, Pepiot, Rasmussen, Cabrera) Sign a free agent 7th inning RH RP (Maton, Harvey, loads of other options) Resulting roster: SS Pena 1B Paredes DH Alvarez 3B Correa 2B Altuve RF Smith LF Cole CF Meyers Bench: Urias, Salazar, Dezenzo, Trammell SP: Brown, Rasmussen, Javier, Littell, Blubaugh, McCullers, France RP: Hader, Abreu, Harvey, King, Sousa, Okert Option 2: Trade Pena for 2 elite (MLB Top 50) prospects plus a young #4 SP Trade Meyers for 2 decent prospects other teams will want Trade some of those prospects for a high ceiling SP (Gore, Lopez, Ryan, Alcantara, Pepiot, Rasmussen, Cabrera) Sign a free agent 7th inning RH RP (Maton, Harvey, loads of other options) Roster: CF Smith 3B Paredes DH Alvarez SS Correa 2B Altuve 1B Walker RF Cole C Diaz LF Sanchez bench: Dubon, Urias, Salazar, Dezenzo SP: Brown, Rasmussen, Javier, TBD, Blubaugh, McCullers, France RP: Hader, Abreu, Harvey, Sousa, King, Okert
