  2. tOSU also went out and bought the best defensive player in college football off another blue blood's roster
  3. Yeah, one of the local Mets was posting a model that showed temps in the low 90s. http://tenor.com/view/mutley-muttley-resmungando-reclamando-medalha-gif-16765574363382019273
  4. My robe is multicolored, not black. Exhibit A:
  5. Good point. BYU is all about their run game. Guess what the Tech D is really good at stopping? Of course ole #47 might give us his best Steve Young or Marc Wilson impression this Saturday. I doubt it. If Tech doesn't run through the tape and trips on its dick, it would be disastrous, at a minimum. They most likely will be at the 4 spot in CFP rankings tomorrow. Dropping out of the Top 12 after a CCG would be about on par for the committee.
  6. Out last dog was a doodle that was very well trained at home, but was probably never socialized enough. He just didn't know how to act when the doorbell rang and a visitor came in the house. This is how I view aggy and Tech when they taste success. It happens so rarely, what shall we ever do?
  7. I actually do think BYU can beat Tech this Saturday and I'm putting my money where my mouth is by traveling to be there. We have a very good QB that is young but has gotten better every game. Our starting, NFL-bound RB was basically out at Tech (even though he played some snaps he was not healthy enough to play). I don't know if BYU is good enough to win it all. There are some very good teams out there. 12 teams get a shot. I think we have done enough and have a resume good enough to at least deserve that shot, even if we drop the CCG. Does the 5th best SEC team have a chance to win it all? Let's settle it on the field versus hypothetical eye tests. How often do the experts get the rankings and winners wrong? All. The. Time. My deal is that you are applying a standard to BYU that is not really being applied to anyone else. BYU is a P4 team, willing to compete in the NIL era, and with some NFL talent on the roster. We are 22-3 over the last two seasons in a P4 league. We are not the BYU of the independent or MWC eras.
  8. That didn't seem to be a concern with LSU given the way they handled Brian Kelly's termination.
  9. It's probably Elf but, like others have said, it's nostalgic in a way that brings back joyful and warm memories when kids were little, so it gets a lifetime pass.
  10. I’ve said it here before but for some reason it constantly has to be reaffirmed. You didn’t get fat/out of shape in a week. You won’t get skinny/ripped in a week either. And once you get skinny, you won’t get fat again in a week. MAYBE two pounds of a 10-12 pound jump in a week is fat, the rest is water due to inflammation. Get back on track and in a week to ten days you’ll be at most 2-ish pounds over where you were before you went off the rails. Progress, not perfection.
  11. Mexico?
  12. Regarding tortious interference, it would be a spite suit, depending on assistant contracts. If they're like most schools, they're on one-year contracts, so they probably couldn't prove much in the way of damages because there's little expectation of entitlement to their services beyond the existing contract. Also, without their hiring coach at the top, their services aren't terribly valuable. But they could fuzz up an argument maybe that a new coach would have wanted the choice to renew their contracts. Then again, every time a new coach is hired away, their contract is "interfered with" by the hiring school and same with any assistants he brings with him. The breach of fiduciary/employee duty would probably just generate cause for firing. But that would require him to be fired before he resigns, most likely. Probably all this would do is make a mess and make UM a less attractive employer. And what they can't ultimately do is force him to stay at Ole Miss to complete his contract. This kind of thing could come up in every hiring scenario, although it is somewhat unusual for the coach to "announce" or "threaten" like Kiffin and I suppose some damages could result from that, taking it out of the usual scenario where no one uses.
  13. And this qualifies because they are all the EXACT SAME MOVIE I used to get stuck watching these with my ex and her family. My FIL and I would crack jokes like "Is this the one where one of them returns to a small town, discovers their true love, has a big misunderstanding and then they get back together at the end?" The looks my ex and MIL would give us were something. I would also nominate White Christmas. I actually enjoyed it the first time, maybe the second time, but it was a family tradition for my ex to watch it EVERY Christmas Eve. Even hearing the damn song now is triggering to me.
  14. Yep. It's been our go-to forever. My favorite version? Use fresh-picked dewberries.
  15. Allow me to grab the lowest-hanging fruit and go with "Sochan's IG is now full of pics of his GF. All offseason and still now part of the season." Maybe he's lost some edge to the undefeated opponent of competitive hunger. That boy is head over heels.
  16. Damn, Vandy scraped the bottom of the barrel to become relevant in football. They're real SEC, now.
  17. the difference between crypto and beanie babies is (1) it leverages the abstractness of things like money and stocks to say anyone can create something abstract and it'll behave similarly; (2) timing, such that it comes about in a gilded age where hard work has completely decoupled from wealth generation, and a substantial portion of the world thinks riches can simply appear.
  18. Did his mom try to sleep with the arresting officer?

  20. I’m gonna guess Dan Wetzel won’t be getting any press credentials from LSU. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47159808/lane-kiffin-leaves-ole-miss-coaching-lsu-football
  21. Neither side of the argument has any proof, dipshit, that's the whole point. I can point to publicly available computer models that suggest we would be favored, but that's all we have to go on besides subjective opinion and feely feels. Suck my dick. Lol @ trying to CR the thread to make a point, too, what a little bitch.
  22. Greenspoint's an angry elf.
